Redwood Materials is currently searching for a Field Quality Engineer to join as an early member of a new engineering team working on our Battery Energy Storage System product line. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of deployed Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets by identifying, investigating, and preventing field issues. As a Software Validation Engineer, you are the bridge between pure code and physical reality. You will design and maintain the environments—Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)—that allow us to stress-test our power electronics and site controllers. Your mission is to build the automated frameworks that catch edge cases before they hit the field, ensuring every product we ship meets the highest standards of reliability. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Validation Environment Design: Architect and scale our SIL and HIL environments (using platforms like Typhoon HIL, Opal-RT, or similar) to provide high-fidelity simulations of battery assets and grid conditions
• Test Automation Frameworks: Lead the development of automated test suites in Python. You will transition our validation processes from manual intervention to a fully automated, scalable framework
• V&V Strategy: Define and execute comprehensive Verification and Validation (V&V) plans, ensuring all software requirements for the site controller and embedded power electronics are met under normal and fault conditions
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated HIL/SIL testing into our CI/CD pipelines, providing real-time feedback to the development teams and serving as the final gate for production-ready code
• Hardware-in-the-Loop Interfacing: Design custom interface hardware and wiring for HIL benches, bridging physical I/O from our controllers to simulated power stages
• Root Cause Analysis: Work closely with the firmware and systems teams to debug complex failures found during validation, using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and telemetry logs to pinpoint issues

Qualifications 

• Background: A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, combined with 2+ years of professional experience in software validation or test automation for hardware-focused systems
• HIL/SIL Mastery: Proven experience with real-time simulation platforms (Typhoon HIL, Opal-RT, or dSPACE) and a deep understanding of how to model power electronics components in a virtual environment
• Automation Toolchain: Expert proficiency in Python (specifically for test automation frameworks like Pytest) and familiarity with Rust and C/C++ to navigate embedded codebases
• Hardware Literacy: Comfortable in a high-voltage lab environment. You should be proficient with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads) and digital protocols like CAN, SPI, and Ethernet

Service Engineer, Energy Storage

Position Summary:

Redwood Materials is currently searching for a Service Engineer to join as an early member of a new engineering team working on our Battery Energy Storage System product line.  You will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues across deployed Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role supports an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) organization that performs routine monitoring, preventive maintenance, and first-line troubleshooting. Service Engineering serves as the technical escalation path for O&M, owning deep diagnostics, system-level failure analysis, and engineering-driven corrective actions. 

The Service Engineer ensures safe, reliable, and high-performing asset operation by bridging field operations and engineering, translating operational issues into engineering solutions, and feeding field learnings back into product and system design. This role has the potential of growing into leadership as the team grows.

Tenstorrent is looking  for a STA methodology engineer who owns timing across advanced-node, high-performance, low-power designs, bringing deep expertise with PrimeTime, noise/crosstalk/OCV analysis, and strong scripting skills. As an Electro Optical System Engineer for our Space team, you will facilitate the integration of EO Payloads on our spacecraft platforms from initial concept development through on-orbit execution. The Senior Supplier Quality & Development Engineer is a hybrid role that combines the proactive, strategic focus of supplier development with the technical rigor and oversight of supplier quality engineering. The Role

About The Role:

As a Robotics Software Engineer, Reliability you'll start by owning the uptime and reliability of our prototyping and development fleet of hardware, electronics, and software that drive the Matter Compiler. You'll develop safe-release processes and provide company-wide visibility into the operational status of fleet units, increasing development velocity for all our power-electronic device, materials-processing, and embedded-systems engineers.

You'll rationalize our hardware configuration management process and act as the first line of defense for early diagnosis and triage of unexpected machine behavior. Standing up safe hardware-in-the-loop processes and building the playbooks for scaled operation is second nature to you; of course, you instrumented failure detection and set a playbook for recovery. You can diagnose an issue with an end effector or electrical board and then perform basic repairs on your own, leaving the instrumentation better than you found it as you define a regression test.

Job Summary:

The mission of PsiQuantum's Principal Hardware Design Engineer role is to support the Electronics team by owning hardware designs integral to the underlying system of the quantum computer. This engineer will collaborate in cross-functional teams of thermal, mechanical, firmware, optical engineers. The designs will meet the requirements of the overall system architecture and physical framework of the quantum computer.

Responsibilities:

• Define, Design and deliver production ready high-speed embedded hardware systems.

WHY WE'RE HERE:

The systems engineering team is looking for an experienced system engineer to lead systems engineering for a Group 5 aircraft program at Anduril. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and ideally will have a strong background in at least one area of expertise (e.g. avionics, software, propulsion, communications, etc.). In addition to a strong technical background, the ideal candidate will also have experience using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to develop design artifacts for unmanned systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

About the Team: 

The mission of the Engine Manufacturing department is to deliver high-performing products and innovative manufacturing systems while driving continuous improvements in cost, quality, and lead time. Through cross-functional collaboration, high levels of accountability, and a focus on safety we play a crucial role in building our reusable rocket, Terran-R. We are responsible for providing design feedback on new hardware iterations, pioneering and implementing advanced manufacturing methods and systems, and ultimately delivering engine and vehicle hardware for testing prior to launch. Over the past year, the Engine Manufacturing Team has successfully developed, iterated, and delivered processes and hardware for the first Aeon-R development engines. Position  

The Hardware group at Eikon Therapeutics develops super-resolution, high-throughput optical instrumentation.
