Iterative Prototyping & Experimentation

• Use an experiment-driven approach to rapidly test hypotheses, iterate on designs, and refine solutions in collaboration with client teams.
• Explore and apply cutting-edge techniques in areas such as NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent systems.
• Develop reusable frameworks, patterns, and tools to accelerate AI delivery across future initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architects, Applied Research, Product, and Customer Success teams supporting the same account.
• Provide structured feedback from customer engagements to influence internal product and platform development.

Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship

• Document best practices, architectures, and lessons learned from deployments to strengthen internal delivery capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, with experience using ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI models (e.g., GPT-4/5), LLM-based systems, agentic workflows, or reinforcement learning frameworks.
• Experience deploying AI/ML systems into production using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or on-premise infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver best-in-industry models for detection of subrogation opportunities using the latest ML advancements and best software engineering practices
• Meet and collaborate with business stakeholders (customers, sales and product managers) to drive the development of new models and features based on
• Collaborate with data engineering and software engineering team to ensure a smooth flow of data across teams and APIs related to outbound subrogation
• Mentor junior ML engineers in the outbound subro team to form a high-performing team

What You Bring

•  Deep understanding of ML lifecycle: development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration

• Design and implement end-to-end document intelligence pipelines on AWS

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll take direct ownership of production services — from initial design through day-to-day operation — while partnering with product, engineering, and security teams to build and maintain business-critical systems. Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to play a key role in building the core of our AI platform. In this position, you will design and develop production-grade systems that power intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and large-scale retrieval services. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that involves close collaboration with product and platform teams to transform advanced AI concepts into reliable, scalable, and secure solutions used across our enterprise ecosystem. You will also be responsible to:

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered services and APIs, leveraging LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Qwen, OSS models) and custom ML models.

• Develop an enterprise-grade agentic framework that enables orchestration, retrieval, and collaboration between multiple AI agents.

• Implement and optimize knowledge retrieval systems and agentic search capabilities using vector databases such as Qdrant and ElasticSearch.

• Write well-structured, efficient, and testable Python code for production services, experimentation, and internal developer tools.

• Build and maintain shared Python libraries and SDKs used across multiple applications and microservices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, internal protocols, and API standards to ensure consistency and reliability across the platform.

• Develop and enhance monitoring, validation, and observability for production-grade AI solutions.

• Drive the full software development lifecycle - from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and scaling challenges in complex, data-intensive environments.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, mentoring other engineers and contributing to a culture of excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong proficiency in Python.

• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade systems using Python.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and data-driven architectures.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Elastic, Qdrant, or similar).

• Familiarity with AI/ML system design, including LLM integration and evaluation pipelines.

• Knowledge of DevOps and observability practices (CI/CD, monitoring, metrics, and model validation).

About this role in the team:

We're looking for an experienced Financial Crime Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle of our financial crime tools and systems, managing the engineering backlog, and driving a roadmap focused on mitigating financial crime risk. This role is crucial to ensuring our technology remains robust, compliant, and ahead of evolving threats like money laundering, fraud, and sanctions evasion.

You will act as the key liaison between the business and our engineering teams, translating complex financial crime requirements into clear, actionable user stories. You will manage the backlog, prioritize tech debt, and champion new features and innovation that directly enhance our ability to detect and prevent illicit financial activity across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear, prioritised product roadmap for all FinCrime tools and systems. Ensure this roadmap aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and our overall risk strategy.
• Backlog Management: Own and manage the engineering backlog. This includes writing detailed user stories, refining requirements, and prioritising features, enhancements, tech debt, and bugs to ensure a continuous and efficient development cycle.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering teams. Effectively communicate product vision, requirements, and priorities. Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Financial Crime Intelligence, and other business stakeholders to gather requirements and define product solutions.
• Innovation & Enhancement: Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and new features that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our financial crime prevention capabilities. This includes leveraging new technologies like machine learning and AI to enhance our detection models.
• Regulatory & Compliance Expertise: Stay up-to-date with global financial crime regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, Sanctions, and Fraud) and emerging trends. Ensure our products are built and maintained in a way that meets or exceeds these compliance standards.
• Performance Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for our FinCrime products. Use data and insights to inform product decisions, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.
• Risk & Prioritization: Prioritise work based on a clear understanding of risk, business value, and technical complexity. Make difficult trade-off decisions to balance competing priorities from different business units.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ Years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably within the FinTech, Financial Services, or a related technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience managing an engineering backlog and working directly with development teams in an Agile or Scrum framework.
• Strong understanding of financial crime prevention, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Sanctions Screening, and Fraud Detection.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A data-driven mindset and a track record of using data to inform product decisions.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry.

• Angular on Web, Flutter for our mobile app, but from time to time we use Swift and Kotlin
• Fivetran/BigQuery/Looker for the BI insights and Python/FastAPI/Faust + some ML libs for the automated decisioning and risk management
