GoDaddy's Director of IT Procurement leads enterprise-wide technology procurement, driving execution, strong governance, and measurable business value across a sophisticated, global technology ecosystem. This role leads end-to-end IT procurement strategy and execution, including strategic sourcing management, supplier partnerships, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and team leadership.
Operating at the intersection of technology, finance, legal, and business leadership, this role balances the speed and agility required in a high-growth technology company with the rigor needed to mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and protect GoDaddy’s financial and operational integrity. The Director will nurture and develop procurement talent while serving as a trusted partner to senior executives across the enterprise.
What you'll get to do...
- Own, lead, and evolve sophisticated, high-value negotiations with strategic IT enterprise vendors — including AWS, Salesforce, and Workday — across MSAs, SOWs, Change Orders, and renewals
- Define and implement a forward-looking IT procurement strategy aligned to business objectives, financial targets, and our technology roadmap — driving simplification, standardization, and scalability across all procurement processes
- Identify and deliver tangible cost savings, cost avoidance, and efficiency gains through meticulous spend analysis, targeted sourcing, and proactive demand management — while maintaining budget rigor across IT spend
- Balance strong commercial outcomes with legal protections and risk mitigation. Partner closely with Legal and Finance to ensure contracts meet all regulatory, tax, and financial requirements, in an agile environment
- Nurture senior-level supplier partnerships that drive outstanding vendor selection, continuous improvement, global consistency, and measurable value. Leverage market intelligence on trends, supplier risks, and pricing dynamics to sharpen sourcing and negotiation strategies
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to Technology, Finance, Legal, Security, and business leaders. Proactively surface opportunities within the existing supply base, champion new sourcing initiatives, and provide clear governance frameworks that empower teams to move with speed and confidence
- Define, track, and report procurement metrics — including savings performance and risk exposure — to senior leadership. Build scalable processes, playbooks, and standards that ensure consistent, high-quality execution across the team

Your experience should include...
- 15+ years progressive procurement experience focusing on IT and technology services in a global technology or SaaS organization
- Proven, hands-on experience procuring AWS, and cloud service frameworks. Experience across a broad IT category portfolio including, SaaS, infrastructure, managed services, and data centres
- Proven record leading enterprise-scale, global IT procurement initiatives in a sophisticated, fast-paced environment
- Deep expertise negotiating high-value, multi-year commercial agreements with senior internal partners and executive-level suppliers. - Own the product strategy and roadmap for the UX Platform, which exposes standardized UI components and design tokens so that engineering teams across the organization build interfaces aligned to our company's design language
- Define and drive the product vision for our AI-powered Localization platform, building an AI translation product that works alongside human translators using human-reinforced learning (RLHF), progressively increasing AI autonomy as quality thresholds are met
- Lead the development of AI agents and skills that enable AI Coding Assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to generate UI code that is fully aligned to our company's design standards and component library

This attorney will support a high volume of commercial agreements while serving as the primary legal partner for key distribution and go-to-market initiatives. This role will focus on drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements, with an emphasis on scalability, efficiency, and strong business partnership. - Leading legal support for distribution, reseller, partner, market-entry, and go-to-market initiatives, advising on contract structure, risk, approval processes, and company policies
- Applying sound business and legal judgment to identify, address, and escalate issues across commercial, technology, SaaS/licensing, privacy, information security, procurement, sales, and related matters

GoDaddy's CTO organization runs one of the most sophisticated experimentation programs in e-commerce - spanning hundreds of A/B tests across commercial surfaces, a rigorous incremental revenue measurement methodology, and a growing portfolio of dynamic optimization capabilities. This program is on the critical path to a CTO key result: doubling experiment velocity and unlocking multi-million-dollar incremental revenue from surfaces newly onboarded to experimentation.
As a Principal Product Manager for Experimentation, you will lead the full stack - from A/B test design and guardrails to Finance alignment on experiment value, to expansion of the portfolio across paywalls, the customer homepage, AI assistant surfaces, and front-of-store experiences. A key part of this roadmap is GoDaddy's continuous experimentation engine — a multi-armed bandit platform that autonomously reallocates traffic to higher-performing strategies in real time, and which represents the next frontier of the experimentation program.
This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to VP-level collaborators across Engineering, Finance, and eCommerce - and a mandate to raise the velocity and rigor of experimentation across the entire organization.

- Own the product roadmap for GoDaddy's continuous experimentation engine: drive expansion to commercial surfaces (paywalls, customer homepage, AI assistant, front-of-store) and define the strategy for onboarding new business units to dynamic experimentation.
- Lead incremental-revenue methodology alignment with Finance to establish revenue impact that Finance can recognize; partner with senior leadership to define and standardize how experiment value is measured and reported.
- Define and enforce A/B testing guardrails, post-rollout durability monitoring, and cannibalization controls across the commercial experimentation portfolio.

- Design, implement, and support highly available and resilient Microsoft SQL Server environments using technologies such as Always On Availability Groups, WSFC, replication, mirroring, and log shipping, including at large scale (20TB+ OLTP systems)
- Partner closely with software engineering and cross‑functional teams to design secure, scalable, and future‑ready database architectures aligned with long‑term business needs
- Establish, document, and maintain security standards, operational best practices, and performance optimisation strategies for MSSQL workloads, including troubleshooting using tools such as Extended Events
- Lead database deployments, upgrades, capacity planning, backup and recovery, and complex troubleshooting efforts, ensuring SLAs are consistently met across environments
- Build, automate, and optimise database infrastructure and operations using scripting, automation, and emerging technologies (including AI‑enabled agents), covering server builds, storage configuration, and SAN integrations
- Contribute as a reliable team member by managing work through Agile/Kanban tools (e.g., Jira), collaborating with vendors, and participating in a shared 24×7 on‑call rotation to support business‑critical systems
Your experience should include...
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience administering MS SQL Server (2014–2025), including working in fast‑paced, mission‑critical environments
- 2+ years of experience with high‑availability and resiliency technologies such as Always On Availability Groups, Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), and MSSQL Transactional Replication
- Strong technical foundation in T‑SQL, PowerShell scripting, Windows Operating Systems, and RAID, with the ability to automate and optimise database operations
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues end‑to‑end, lead troubleshooting efforts, and consistently drive work to closure under pressure
- Experience working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with clear, effective communication and adaptability to change

As with many sales roles, our compensation combines both an initial starting hourly rate ($17/hour) and the opportunity to earn additional income through our variable incentive plan.
