THE ROLE
This is a foundational role. You'll be joining at the ground floor of a newly forming Growth practice, with the mandate to build a rigorous analytics and product-led growth program from scratch. You won't be inheriting a dashboard and maintaining it. You'll be defining what gets measured, why it matters, and how insights translate into action.
The strongest candidates think in systems and speak in stories. You know how to take messy behavioral data, shape it into a clear narrative, and use that narrative to move stakeholders, influence product decisions, and drive measurable outcomes. You've done this before, in a real PLG environment with real accountability for growth, and you're ready to do it again at scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the internal authority on Pendo capabilities; stay current on product releases, advocate for best practices, and support team members in building analytics fluency
- Communicate findings and program progress to stakeholders across leadership, product, and engineering — clearly, consistently, and with business context front and center
- Contribute to and help shape Conga's digital analytics and in-app engagement program, including instrumentation strategy, KPI definition, and reporting infrastructure
- Analyze user behavior data to surface actionable insights; translate findings into compelling narratives that influence product, UX, and go-to-market decisions
- Implement in-app guidance, onboarding flows, and user engagement content using Pendo, with a focus on adoption, activation, and retention
- Proactively build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to align on priorities, surface opportunities, and accelerate program impact
- Design and run A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to optimize in-app experiences and drive measurable improvements in engagement and conversion
- Proactively identify friction points, gaps in adoption, and areas for improvement across the user journey; bring forward recommendations before problems are escalated
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS as it relates to in-app content customization
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVES
- 4–6 years of experience in product analytics, growth, or digital adoption — with hands-on ownership of outcomes, not just reporting
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling a PLG program, including trialability, activation, and self-serve growth motions
- Expert in Pendo and its core products including Predict, Analytics, and Onboarding; highly proficient in Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Appcues, and Power BI, with the ability to move fluidly between tools depending on the question being asked.
- Strong data skills: able to define metrics, build dashboards, run cohort analyses, and design experiments independently
- Exceptional communication skills — you write clearly, present with confidence, and know how to translate data into a story that drives decisions
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment where influence matters more than authority
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience contributing to a formal design system; designing for enterprise SaaS software
- Background in change management or digital adoption strategy
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS as it relates to in-app content customization

As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll be working on developing robust solutions across next-generation AI/GenAI based products and solutions. This is one of the critical roles under the AI team within Engineering. Are you the person we’re looking for?
Related Experience. You should have at least 6 Months of experience in the software industry as a AI Engineer and the technical requirements necessary to design, develop, test and implement solutions.
Technical Skills. You’re likely to have proficiency in AI development technologies such as Python, FastAPI, PyTest, Celery and other Python frameworks and familiarity with AI/ML, GenAI, and MLOps concepts. You also possess good understanding with object-oriented programming, concurrency, design patterns, and REST APIs. Your familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Terraform and GitHub Actions and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and databases like SQL and NoSQL such as MongoDB, MSSQL, or Postgres. Understanding of Data Structure & Algorithm analysis and its usage in scalable software design.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You’re not just comfortable engaging in collaborative discussions, but initiating them, too. You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connections with our clients and allow you to accurately collect the right information so you can resolve issues most expediently.
Education. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Conga is looking to hire a Manager, Software Engineering to join our extremely talented AI Engineering team. As an Engineering Manager at Conga, you’ll lead a team of software engineers working on our next generation AI Solutions. This team will be responsible for building statistical and machine learning models that support product features across the company. You’ll get to work directly with other Engineering Managers, Architects, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Directors, all of whom make up the larger team. In this highly collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to grow as a leader and help mentor others.
This position requires experience leading software engineering initiatives, knowledge of AI/ML solutions, as well as excellent people and time management skills. This role will be reporting to the VP of AI Engineering and will be a key engineering leader inside the Conga AI Pillar. The role requires you to collaborate with other leaders at Conga and guide your team to deliver high quality software solutions in a timely manner. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about people, process, technology, and delivering customer values.
Conga works in an agile environment where there are daily stand-ups, code reviews, and constant communication within each self-managed cross-functional team. The ability to communicate effectively with other Engineering and Product leaders, as well as work closely with other your team members are key components for success in this position.

8+ or more years of experience in the Software Engineering industry with a record of increasing responsibility leading software development initiatives, and 3+ years managing teams.
Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Machine Learning Lifecycle (MLL).
Lead and drive the strategy, vision and roadmap for building robust, scalable AI/ML foundations and platforms — including but not limited to:
- Feature stores
- Distributed ML model training
- Model versioning and evaluation
- Monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining pipelines
- Responsible AI, model explainability, and fairness assessments
Experience with productionizing ML models and integrating them into real-time and batch applications. Work closely with data science partners and domain engineering teams to understand AI/ML use cases and build corresponding foundations for personalization, NLP, forecasting, recommendations, and generative AI.
Experience using a popular programming language such as: Python (preferred), Java, C#, Scala, etc.
Solid understanding of modern software development practices including object-oriented programming, concurrency, design patterns, microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and test-driven development.
Experience with software testing concepts and tools: white/black box testing, coverage analysis, mocking, PyTest/xUnit, Selenium, etc.
Hands-on experience with GCP technologies such as BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow, Kubeflow, and Vertex AI — or equivalent services in AWS and/or Azure.
Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow, scikit-learn, HuggingFace Transformers, etc.
Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools used to automate deployment to cloud platforms: Terraform, GitHub Actions, Concourse, Ansible, etc.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into engineering outcomes.
Experience with AI product lifecycle management, including experimentation tracking, model governance, and release management.
Experience with Python is ideal; Java/Spring is a strong plus.

Relevant Experience. Leadership skills. Work across multiple teams to deliver quality software at a consistent pace, which aligns to the product vision. Guide the scrum teams to deliver great software at an impressive pace. Keep the team aligned with the work at hand and the completion of the greater feature, gather product requirements from stakeholders, manage release status for development and communicate status to other departments in the company. Work closely with development team to decompose high-level features into user stories, quickly provide just-in-time decisions to system level questions and defect triage.
Analyze and prioritize. Schedule development work for releases. Work with product management and development teams to create and maintain product priorities, track schedule against delivery commitments, and escalate risks and issues. Work with and maintain communication with stakeholders. Analyze product metrics to understand product performance

Technical Fluency. You are comfortable in conversations about system architecture, API design (REST, GraphQL, webhooks), authentication/authorization frameworks, data models, and scalability. You don't need to write the code, but you need to understand the trade-offs behind the decisions. Familiarity with ML-based platform services or data pipeline products is a plus.
Developer & Internal Customer Empathy. Roadmap & Prioritization. You will own the platform roadmap — balancing foundational investment, feature requests from internal product teams, technical debt, and strategic extensibility initiatives. Technical Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, Celery, and other Python frameworks
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and concurrency
- Strong experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control systems such as GitHub, and work tracking tools such as JIRA
- Knowledge of generative AI frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, along with MLOps and AI lifecycle management
- Experience deploying and monitoring AI models in cloud environments
