As part of Enterprise Engineering, the Workday Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Engineer sets the bar for technical excellence and innovation across our Talent Acquisition platform—driving configuration strategy, automation, integration optimization, and continuous validation at scale. What you'll be doing

• Establish recruiting-specific quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting (including time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, system uptime, integration success rates, configuration coverage, defect density) that enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Champion candidate experience excellence: partner with Recruiting, Employer Branding, and TA Operations teams to optimize career site performance, mobile responsiveness, application completion rates, and candidate communication workflows.
• Lead technical design reviews and configuration governance for recruiting process changes, partner with Workday Recruiting Consultants, Integration Engineers, and HRIS teams on design patterns and apply configuration best practices to recruiting assets.

What you'll do

As the Senior Software Engineer for Product Recommendations, you will be a key contributor in building the machine learning–powered systems that decide which products to show to whom and when across all channels powered by our platform. Compensation & Benefits

The target Total Compensation range for this position is $100,338 - $200,675 per year. This range is inclusive of base salary and a target incentive plan (which may include equity, commission, or other bonus structures). Your specific compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as your geographic location, relevant experience, and job-related skills.

Compensation:

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Nexamp ranges from $160,000 - $180,000. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans). About the Role

Data is the lifeblood of Klaviyo. As a Data Engineer on this team, you will sit at the intersection of infrastructure and intelligence. You won’t just be moving data; you’ll be building the foundations that power our next generation of AI-driven features and enterprise-scale analytics.

You will bridge the gap between data engineering and product impact. Your work will involve developing scalable Spark pipelines, tuning our storage and query patterns to ensure low-latency performance for our enterprise customers, and modeling the high-impact datasets that drive Klaviyo's analytics and machine learning engines.

• Build Production-Grade Foundations: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and core tables using PySpark, Airflow, and dbt. You will implement the foundational datasets that power our AI, ML, and Analytics products.

• Fluent in SQL and Python: You have a solid grasp of SQL for high-performance querying and are comfortable using Python for data manipulation and automation. You focus on writing code that balances speed with reliability.

Software Engineers contribute to the delivery of a variety of software integrated in to our products. We expect Software Engineers to demonstrate end-to-end outcome ownership of their projects, contributing as a member of a team to the rapid architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of next generation autonomous platforms through their entire product life-cycle.

Staff Software Engineers lead the delivery of a variety of embedded and/or safety critical software integrated in to our products, acting as technical leads, extremely senior individual contributors, and/or as team leads that are also hands-on contributors. This includes device management, drivers, firmware, power management, networking, and contingency management and recovery. We expect Staff Software Engineers to demonstrate unparalleled end-to-end outcome ownership, driving the rapid architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of next generation autonomous platforms through their entire product life-cycle.

What You’ll Do

• Own customer success through the design and delivery of a multi-year, multi-stakeholder software roadmap that spans across multiple teams.
• Leverage internal product and program-specific engineering teams to rapidly deliver capability beyond the scope of current platforms, with a clear path for both architecture and capability evolution over time
• Partner with external teams, collaborating on interfacing requirements between diverse systems and technologies
• Lead teams that architect, design and implement trusted, safety critical Vehicle Management Systems that balance constraints, restrictions and requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Contribute to the design and development of a company wide roadmap for software inputs to autonomous systems
• Architect, design and implement scalable vehicle sub-systems including sensor processing, state estimation, contingency management, actuation, payload interfaces, and mission systems interfaces
• Drive the development of real-time embedded software using an RTOS
• Drive the development of device drivers and interfaces to a variety of sensors and actuators
• Act as a subject matter expert for software engineering, representing software equities in a multi-stakeholder environment including engineering, business and sales leadership.
• Drive the design and implementation of development processes for the initial delivery and subsequent iteration of software, including full lifecycle testing
• Drive the creation of test and simulation fixtures that operate with both software- and hardware-in-the-loop
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment
• Lead teams of multi-disciplinary engineers, including as a mentor for Senior Software Engineers from differing backgrounds
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and/or other teams up to 20% of the time

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in a leadership position within a high performing technology organization
• Experienced and proficient at writing C.
• Experience with an RTOS.
• Familiarity with communications busses and protocols (e.g. CAN, CANFD, UART/RS232/RS422/RS485, SPI, QSPI, I2C, Ethernet, ARINC-825, ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553, etc).
• Systems programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency and optimization.
• Capacity to act as the technical owner for an entire software system, including stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, roadmap management, team co-ordination, design, implementation, sustainment and evolution
• Capacity to learn and grow individually, while mentoring junior team members effectively, contributing to team cohesion and capacity.

• Design and build a robust, MOSA-compliant systems (HTTP, gRPC) and data models that allow plug-and-play integration of first and third party sensors, payloads, and legacy defense platforms
• Develop and execute the frontend and backend systems, in partnership with other software teams across the company, that power our Single Pane of Glass orchestration engine, enabling a single operator to manage multi-domain, multi-vehicle operations
• Deploy to the edge, working closely with end-user customers and robots, to push capabilities to the maritime hardware operating in highly constrained, communications denied environments
• Leverage internal product and program-specific engineering teams to rapidly deliver capability beyond the scope of current platforms, with a clear path for both architecture and capability evolution over time
• Drive architecture selection and design for robotic systems, including hardware selection, compute, storage and network architecture, service orchestration and other software platform concerns that balance constraints, restrictions and requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment

• Lead teams that develop software that runs on-and-off-platform, using a variety of technologies
