As a Senior Software Engineering Manager with a strong technical background in building and architecting large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, you possess the leadership maturity to manage both individual contributors and other managers, effectively translating organizational strategy into clear, actionable team goals. Build and Grow Our Bangalore Agent Platform Team: Be the key leader for our Agent Platform engineering team in India. Own the hiring, management, and retention of a high-performing team, ensuring local growth aligns with our global SaaS platform objectives.
Lead Execution and Delivery: Drive the execution of team projects. Partner with individual contributors (ICs) to define tasks, track progress, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Manage cross-team dependencies and coordinate with stakeholders (Product Managers, senior leadership) to guarantee alignment and clear communication on status and risks.
Drive Technical Strategy: Oversee the architectural design and scalability for Agent Platform SaaS services. These services interact with millions of agents and process billions of daily requests. You will rely on designated Tech Leads and senior team members for detailed design and architecture.
Ensure Cross-Functional Success: Partner with the Agent Platform engineering leadership, Product Management, and UX designers to strategically define system requirements and deliver features that protect millions of endpoints worldwide.
Foster a World-Class Engineering Culture: Promote engineering excellence and continuous learning. Coach individuals and other managers to achieve their professional goals.
Engage with Leadership: Regularly interact with senior management and executives to influence decisions and gain acceptance for strategic initiatives.
Manage a Hybrid Team: Lead the local Bangalore team within our hybrid work model, fostering strong in-person collaboration and a powerful sense of belonging.
Leadership Track Record: A minimum of 8 years of progressive software engineering experience, including 3–5 years of increasing managerial responsibility, with at least 2 years operating at the Manager level or higher.
Management & Development Expertise: Proven success in managing, hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams of 8+ direct reports, including experience managing internationally distributed and cross-functional IC teams.
Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency and an ability to lead technical strategy in major programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python, coupled with a deep understanding of software design principles.
Distributed Systems & Cloud Scale: Deep background in architecting, building, and scaling high-load, resilient distributed systems within public cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
Infrastructure & Observability: Solid hands-on and strategic experience with modern infrastructure tooling, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform). Experience with modern monitoring and observability stacks is a strong plus.
Product Delivery & CI/CD: Comprehensive knowledge of the entire SaaS product development lifecycle. Expert-level understanding and application of modern CI/CD practices and tooling, such as Github Actions or ArgoCD, to drive engineering velocity and quality.
Strategic Communication & Business Acumen: Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical decisions into clear business outcomes and align engineering execution with broader company strategy.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test with extensive industry experience to define and execute the design, development, and maintenance of Fivetran’s test automation tools and framework using reliable and scalable techniques.
As a Senior SDET, you will focus on solving complex testing difficulties by designing, developing and improving automation and reporting frameworks. You will invest in improving test stability and performance of the framework by developing innovative solutions to boost Fivetran’s testing efficiency. You will also coach Fivetran quality engineers to be the best in class automation engineers, and will continuously work with the team to ensure high standards for automation. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, detail-oriented, creative, motivated, and focused on achieving results.
This is a full-time position based out of our Bangalore office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

About the Team
Razorpay's agentic products are scaling fast. Agent-powered onboarding, dashboard experiences, and automation workflows are live and growing, and the engineering teams building them are moving quickly. As we scale, we need shared infrastructure that lets every product team access the best model for each task without having to build routing, observability, or resilience logic themselves.
We are building an AI Inference Platform: a centralized layer that handles intelligent model routing, cost optimization, and quality observability across all of Razorpay's agentic products. The goal is simple. Product teams declare what kind of task they need done. The platform takes care of picking the right model, managing fallbacks, and tracking cost and quality. Teams stay focused on shipping features.
As Lead AI Engineer on the platform side, you build the inference orchestration layer that sits between our product teams and their model providers. Routing, fallbacks, cost tracking, A/B testing for model swaps, and observability are all yours. About You
You’ll be successful in this role if you can own complex systems end-to-end and translate ambiguity into scalable, production-grade platforms. You’re equally comfortable going deep on architecture (e.g., pricing engines, distributed systems) and driving alignment across product, GTM, and data teams to ship high-impact capabilities.
