We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused Senior Solution Architect to help enterprises adopt a high-performance, real-time data platform for mission-critical applications. In this pre-sales role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer challenges, design scalable architectures, and demonstrate how modern distributed database technologies can solve complex business problems.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey—from discovery and solution design to proof of concept and deployment guidance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving large-scale technical challenges, engaging with enterprise customers, and translating complex technologies into tangible business value.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to support enterprise customer engagements throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer environments, business objectives, and technical requirements.
• Design scalable, high-performance architectures for mission-critical applications and real-time workloads.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops for both technical and executive audiences.
• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements and provide technical guidance during evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to communicate customer feedback, feature requests, and market requirements.
• Recommend solution enhancements and architectural improvements based on customer use cases.
• Support customers in designing resilient, distributed, and cloud-native database deployments.
• Develop technical documentation, reference architectures, and best practices for customers and partners.
• Enable internal sales teams through technical training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Participate in technical community events, webinars, workshops, and customer enablement programs.
• Stay current with emerging trends in distributed databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern application architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong experience working with distributed databases, relational databases, or NoSQL technologies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with both executive leadership and technical engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Linux environments and system administration concepts.
• Experience designing solutions for mission-critical, high-availability applications.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, data platforms, and scalable application architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Hive, HDFS, or similar ecosystems.
• Programming experience in at least one language such as Java, Python, Go, or C/C++.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed database technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase, YugabyteDB, CockroachDB, HBase, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Understanding of networking, storage systems, CPUs, memory architecture, and infrastructure performance optimization.
• Exposure to Knowledge Graphs, Time-Series databases, Feature Stores, or modern AI/ML data platforms.
• Previous experience working in fast-paced product or startup environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements, workshops, and technical events.
