Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized data protection and privacy programs to safeguard client information and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assess clients' existing privacy and data protection practices, identify gaps, and provide practical recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support cybersecurity engagements by developing governance frameworks, conducting risk assessments, driving compliance initiatives, and creating policies aligned with ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 standards.
- Apply expertise in industry-recognized frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001/27002, ISO 22301, ISO 27018, ISO 27701, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and HITRUST, to strengthen clients' security, privacy, and governance programs.
- Advise clients on national and international privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection laws, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Develop clear, comprehensive policies, procedures, assessment reports, and implementation roadmaps aligned with industry best practices.
- Utilize digital tools and platforms to manage privacy incidents, data subject rights requests, and compliance workflows efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective privacy and cybersecurity solutions.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational policies and ethical practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Privacy Consulting or Data Privacy.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Data Discovery
- Data Mapping
- Privacy Risk Assessments
- Privacy implementation projects
- Good understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR, DPDPA, and other international privacy laws.
- Experience in project management, including planning, stakeholder management, and delivery coordination.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
Work Model
- Work Location: Work from the office on all working days.
- Week-off Policy: First, second, and third Saturdays are off. The last Saturday of every month is a working day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to privacy governance frameworks and privacy management tools will be an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM, CIPT, ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer, or similar are desirable.
