We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team, responsible for administering payroll across India and support the U.S process. This role requires a highly analytical professional who can manage payroll processes with exceptional accuracy while efficiently handling competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. They are proficient in Workday Payroll and ADP, with the ability to run and audit reports, validate compensation changes, and maintain data integrity, while delivering excellent client service and effectively supporting employees, vendors, and auditors.
Requirements
India and US Payroll
Manage all payroll processes for India and assist with US payroll processes to ensure they are completed to an exceptional degree of accuracy.
Run relevant payroll reports from Workday and compile changes/updates in specific formats for payroll processing; Ensure all employee changes are accurately reflected in payroll periods
Review and validate payments, new hire compensation, salary increases, and other payroll changes
Maintain strong internal controls to ensure payroll data integrity and compliance
Respond to employee payroll, 401k, provident fund, and other similar questions with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Administer time-tracking in Workday; Ensure PTO is entered accurately; Create reports to audit PTO tracking and provide employee support for time-tracking in WD
Respond to auditor requests for documentation and confirming of payroll earnings
Document payroll processes and proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Potential to manage and coordinate other global payrolls (Asia, Europe, UK)
US Payroll Specifically
Create and complete regular audits between Workday and ADP; Ensure ADP has current and accurate information for US employees; Create and map new codes in ADP
Support Workday Payroll implementation, including testing, configuration, and enhancements
Benefits
Create and complete regular reporting and invoice preparation for US Benefits
Support global benefits auditing, reporting, and projects
Required Experience
6 to 10 years of Payroll experience
Experience implementing and using Workday Payroll
Experience working with ADP
Excellent Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail and integrity
