We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Privacy Consultant to support day-to-day privacy operations, ROPA (Records of Processing Activities) management, governance tracking, stakeholder coordination, and privacy program implementation. This role will play a key part in ensuring the effective execution of privacy initiatives by managing operational activities, maintaining governance records, supporting compliance reporting, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Data Protection, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations, and Business teams to facilitate privacy program execution, monitor deliverables, maintain privacy documentation, and contribute to the successful implementation of data privacy frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA).

Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day privacy operations by coordinating privacy implementation activities across business and functional teams.
- Manage and maintain ROPA (Records of Processing Activities), ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and periodic updates.
- Review and validate Data Fiduciary (DF) and Data Processor (DP) information while supporting privacy documentation and governance activities.
- Assist stakeholders with privacy templates, vendor assessments, and privacy platform usage.
- Conduct quality reviews of privacy-related documentation, purpose statements, and governance records.
- Track privacy initiatives, project milestones, action items, risks, dependencies, and implementation progress across multiple business units.
- Coordinate governance meetings, prepare meeting minutes, maintain action trackers, and support follow-up activities.
- Develop and maintain management dashboards, MIS reports, status updates, and executive presentations for privacy governance reviews.
- Support privacy training programs by coordinating schedules, maintaining attendance records, tracking completion, and preparing awareness reports.
- Monitor privacy-related operational issues, user queries, exceptions, and remediation activities while ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with Data Protection, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Business teams to support ongoing privacy governance and operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of privacy processes, reporting, and governance frameworks.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Privacy Operations, Governance, PMO, Compliance, Risk Management, Data Governance, or Regulatory Operations.
- Strong understanding of DPDPA, privacy operations, and ROPA management processes.
- Experience supporting privacy implementation programs, governance activities, stakeholder coordination, and project tracking.
- Familiarity with privacy platforms, workflow management tools, and reporting solutions such as Power BI, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical skills with experience preparing MIS reports, dashboards, executive presentations, and governance documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, DSCI Privacy Certification, PMP, or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
