We are looking for an experienced Commercial & Market Development Leader to drive the transformation of a premium agriculture business by building high-value markets, strengthening brand positioning, and maximizing revenue across specialty agricultural products. This is a strategic leadership role focused on creating differentiated market opportunities, expanding premium customer segments, and enhancing value realization through innovative commercial strategies.
The ideal candidate will lead market development initiatives across domestic and international channels, establish strong partnerships with buyers and distributors, and develop premium branding strategies for specialty produce. Working closely with leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping long-term growth by combining commercial excellence, digital brand building, and sustainable market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and improve price realization across multiple sales channels.
- Identify and build new market opportunities for premium agricultural products through strategic partnerships and customer acquisition.
- Establish and nurture relationships with specialty buyers, retail chains, distributors, exporters, and channel partners.
- Lead market development initiatives by identifying emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive opportunities.
- Drive premium brand positioning through integrated marketing and digital brand-building initiatives.
- Develop go-to-market strategies that enhance product visibility, customer engagement, and long-term brand equity.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and leadership teams to align market demand with supply capabilities.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and partnership terms to maximize business value.
- Analyze sales performance, market dynamics, and customer insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Drive channel expansion while improving revenue realization, customer retention, and overall business profitability.
- Represent the organization in industry events, customer meetings, and strategic business discussions to strengthen market presence.
- Promote sustainable business practices while creating long-term value across the agricultural value chain.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 8–12 years of experience in commercial leadership, market development, business development, or strategic sales within agribusiness, fresh produce, specialty food, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in Market Development, Digital Brand Building, and Agritech.
- Proven success in developing premium markets, expanding customer networks, and driving revenue growth.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing strategic customer and channel relationships.
- Strong understanding of premium food products, agricultural value chains, and market positioning strategies.
- Knowledge of channel management, lead generation, and revenue optimization is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and external partners.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment while balancing commercial objectives with long-term sustainability.
