We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Founding Partner – CTO to lead the technology vision, product engineering, and innovation strategy for a technology-driven venture focused on Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, IoT, Digital Twins, and Robotics.
This is a senior technology leadership role for someone who can operate across strategy, architecture, product development, engineering, and business. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to build technology platforms, engineering teams, and differentiated products from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall technology vision, architecture, and engineering strategy.
- Lead development of AI-powered products and intelligent technology platforms.
- Design solutions combining Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, IoT, Digital Twins, and Robotics.
- Define scalable architectures spanning edge devices, embedded systems, cloud platforms, data pipelines, and AI services.
- Lead the development of connected products, intelligent devices, automation systems, and robotics solutions.
- Establish IoT architectures covering device connectivity, telemetry, edge computing, device management, and real-time data processing.
- Drive development of Digital Twin capabilities for connected assets, processes, environments, and operational systems.
- Evaluate and implement AI/ML models for prediction, optimisation, automation, computer vision, intelligent decision-making, and autonomous systems.
- Lead technology selection, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and transition of successful innovations into production.
- Build and scale high-performing engineering teams across software, AI, embedded, IoT, and robotics disciplines.
- Establish engineering standards covering architecture, coding, testing, security, DevOps, deployment, and observability.
- Partner with Product and Business teams to translate customer problems into technically viable and scalable solutions.
- Engage with customers, technology partners, vendors, investors, and strategic stakeholders on technical initiatives.
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives, product milestones, and market opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for intellectual property, proprietary platforms, technology differentiation, and automation.
- Ensure technology platforms meet appropriate standards for security, reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive continuous R&D and stay current with emerging developments in AI, robotics, edge computing, IoT, and digital technologies.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 9+ years of experience in technology leadership, product engineering, AI, IoT, embedded systems, robotics, or related technology domains.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Artificial Intelligence and AI/ML technologies.
- Proven experience designing and building IoT and connected-device platforms.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, edge computing, hardware-software integration, and device communication.
- Practical experience with Digital Twin architectures, simulation, real-time data, or industrial technology platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience with robotics, automation, computer vision, autonomous systems, or intelligent machines is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, distributed systems, data platforms, and scalable software engineering.
- Experience taking products from concept, prototype, and MVP through production and commercial deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, high-growth environment.
- Excellent system-design, architecture, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
- Strong business understanding and ability to connect technology investments with product and commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to engage founders, CXOs, customers, investors, and technical teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, AI, or a related discipline is preferred.
