A listing that stays open, untouched, for months is the complaint job seekers raise most and the one nobody publishes a number for. Because every board here is an employer's own official feed, the last time a role changed upstream is a fact about the employer rather than a side effect of aggregation. These are the roles that have not changed in 90 days or more.

Every figure counts live openings published on employers' own official careers feeds, read directly from the source rather than scraped from other job boards. A role is counted as live until its employer removes it.
An opening is counted as unchanged when its employer has not edited it upstream for 90 days or more. 90 is the threshold most reporting on this uses, so these numbers can be compared with others. Unchanged is not proof a role is fake — a genuinely hard search can run for months — but at scale it is the closest measurable signal there is.
What this does not cover: employers who hire without publishing a public feed, roles filled but not yet taken down, and internal-only postings. Employers who publish nothing publicly are invisible here, which means the real market is larger than these counts.
