Department Overview
This department is responsible for B2B marketing at Rakuten Mobile. We strategically promote not only mobile network services but also our own proprietary products on a daily basis. To embody one of our "Success Concepts," "Maximizing Customer Satisfaction," we always approach our work from the customer's perspective. Our organization is responsible for the production and improvement of various initiatives, including websites, digital marketing, owned media, and events. The appeal of this role lies in the ability to be involved from planning through to improvement, allowing you to oversee the entire marketing process.

Why We Hire
Due to business expansion, we are looking to add new members to our team to strengthen our Web design and print production capabilities.

Position Details
- Design, operation, improvement, and renewal of websites for Rakuten Mobile B2B marketing and related services.
- Design of printed materials such as posters, brochures, flyers, and direct mail.
- Collaboration with Web directors, front-end engineers, DTP designers, and business operations staff.
- Collaboration with designers from other Rakuten services.
- Creation, updates, and modifications of Web designs.
- Qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, such as user surveys.
- UI proposals or modifications to solve customer and business issues based on hypotheses.
- Development of creative concepts and visual direction for entire projects.
- Providing instructions to team members, design reviews, and quality management.

Work Environment
35 members (15 in Marketing, 20 in Planning/Production)

Mandatory Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience as an Art Director (experience in both online and offline required).
- Practical proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
- Experience in supervision and design leadership.
- Knowledge and understanding of usability, accessibility, and front-end technologies.
- Communication skills to facilitate smooth team development.
- Japanese (Business-level proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing).

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the development, operation, and improvement of design systems.
- Experience in DTP and coordinating offline and online creative assets.
- Knowledge and experience in video editing and motion graphics.
