Department Overview

This department is responsible for the real-channel operations that deliver Rakuten Group services-including telecommunications, finance, and e-commerce-to customers, leveraging the Rakuten Mobile store network as a starting point.
The Shop Construction and Maintenance Group is responsible for end-to-end operations, from new store openings to facility and repair management, with a mission to create an optimal store environment for both customers and staff.

With the expansion of Rakuten Mobile shops, we are seeking talent to lead the stable execution of new store openings and manage the maintenance and repairs of existing locations. We are looking for individuals who can strengthen our highly reproducible store construction system while balancing speed, quality, and cost.

Position Details

・Design and construction management for new store openings and negotiations with contractors.

・Procurement of store equipment/fixtures and development of management plans.

・Standardization of store repair processes and optimization of infrastructure foundations.

Work Environment

Shop Construction and Maintenance Group: 22 members
(2 Managers, 2 Assistant Managers, 18 Members)

Mandatory Qualifications:

・Experience in project management, contractor coordination, or cost management within interior/construction work (industry type is not specified).

・Experience in driving projects by managing deadlines, quality, and costs while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

・Experience in creating manuals and standardizing processes for tasks that were previously dependent on individual skills to build reproducible workflows.

Desired Qualifications:

・Experience in establishing standard specifications for multi-store rollouts or building design/operational processes.

・Proven track record in optimizing store development and facility management using IT tools.
