Department Overview

This department is responsible for creating customer touchpoints through real channels and driving business growth, with a core focus on Rakuten Mobile shop operations.
The Shop Strategy Group is responsible for end-to-end operations, from planning store opening strategies to property selection, terms negotiation, contract management, and operational standardization, driving the sustainable expansion of our store network.

With the expansion of Rakuten Mobile shops, we are seeking talent capable of driving property selection, terms negotiation, contract management, and the standardization of store opening processes.

Position Details

・Property selection based on store opening strategies, negotiations with property owners, and lease term negotiations.

・Execution and streamlining of lease agreement signings and renewals.

・Standardization and systematization of operational processes related to store openings.

・Optimization of management systems through the development and utilization of property management applications.

Work Environment

Shop Strategy Group: 25 members (2 Managers, 2 Assistant Managers, 21 Members)

Mandatory Qualifications:

・Experience in conducting terms negotiations and contract coordination with external business partners in fields such as store development, real estate, B2B sales, or business development.

・Practical experience in property selection, negotiations with owners/developers, and lease contract coordination, or equivalent negotiation experience.

・Experience in driving projects by managing progress and clarifying issues while collaborating with multiple departments.

・Experience in creating financial projections, proposal materials, and progress management reports using Excel and PowerPoint.

You do not need to meet all the mandatory requirements. If you have experience in negotiation/coordination roles and are eager to take on challenges in store development and real estate, we encourage you to apply.

Desired Qualifications:

・Experience in store development within the retail, food & beverage, or telecommunications industries that operate multiple locations.

・Deep knowledge of legal and contract-related matters.

Additional information on Transfer

・Working Days: Monday - Friday (Weekends and holidays are days off)

・Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (7.5 hours of actual work/day)

・Overtime Work: Yes

・Holiday Work: While we basically ensure two full days off per week, you may be required to work on holidays depending on business circumstances.
