About the Role

The Health and Safety Manager  is responsible for building a safety culture and strong engagement on site, developing and implementing safety programs in partnership site leadership, facilitating safety training, and leading a team of HSE professionals. 

The Health and Safety Manager reports directly to the National Health and Safety Manager, and will collaborate closely with the Site Director. The Health and Safety Manager oversees a team of Health and Safety Specialist(s), Coordinator(s) and administrators; and works directly with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure workplace safety is top priority.

What you will be doing:

• Contribute to a strong safety-first culture through employee engagement, strong health and safety management programs, and training 
• Work with Leadership to develop health and safety management systems and the associated rollout and facilitated training to ensure continued growth opportunities for the organization 
• Lead health and safety audits, routine site checks, and closing of compliance gaps to establish high safety standards and compliance with HelloFresh and OHS requirements
• Partner with site management to proactively identify, assess, analyze, and mitigate job hazards; and establish high effectiveness of controls and processes to eliminate safety risks
• Engage, motivate, and train employees on safety roles and responsibilities, accountabilities, and processes to maintain a safe workplace
• Oversee incident investigations, reporting, and management, and mentor operational personnel in its processes
• Lead safety reporting; ensure high transparency and visibility to safety metrics and alerts on site
• Oversee onboarding and on the job safety training programs for employees 
• Work with operations to develop and mentor an effective Joint Health and Safety committee
• Monitor existing and incoming relevant legislation and regulations to ensure the site meets requirements and that health and safety management programs are up to date with leadership
• Work in compliance with Provincial OH&S acts, regulations, and legislation, Industry best practice, and internal Policy and Procedure 
• Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer. 
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HS Sr. Manager

At a minimum, you have: 

• Completed post-secondary education  in  Health and Safety (Certificate, Diploma, Degree), or related field or equivalent work experience 
• Professional Health and Safety Designation (CRSP, CRST, CSP, ASP, CMIOSH)
• 10+ years of work experience required in Health and Safety including 3 years of verifiable leadership progression
• Demonstrated experience in providing high quality customer experience, building a safety culture, communicating to get team member buy-in
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to perform administrative tasks with high degree of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including active listening and proofreading
• Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
• Ability to demonstrate good, sound judgment
• Availability to work weekend schedules and in temperature controlled (it’s food, so it’s cold!) facilities
• Experience with Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing (Hangouts Meet)

The role

The Sr. Category Manager Operations will be responsible for overseeing category management, strategic sourcing and contracting for CapEx, Material Handling Equipment and Utilities (and also supporting other Operation areas such as MRO, Facilities Management, etc.) for Hello Fresh’s European production sites and offices. The role will also be supporting initiatives targeted to increase the maturity level of Indirect Procurement’s processes and systems landscape. What you’ll do

What you’ll bring

• The Sr. Indirect Procurement role will oversee a broad range of categories, including CapEx, Material Handling Equipment, Utilities, MRO, and Facilities Management. Candidates should bring solid experience across several of these areas; the wider the category exposure, the stronger the profile. Proven hands-on experience in at least some of these categories is essential.
• Experience within European markets is a key requirement for this role.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in indirect Procurement.
• Degree in Engineering is preferable (but no mandatory)
• Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, category management, and supplier management
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and enjoy working independently
• Experience in spend and market analyses as well as benchmarking with focus on european markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing and delivering presentations and reports

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Safety Specialist to join our team! As Sr. Safety Specialist, you will join forces with the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention  to head up workplace safety initiatives for one of our distribution center operations! You will…

• Work with integrity and the utmost regard for the safety and health at HelloFresh
• Provides subject matter expertise either through education, training, and/or experience in multiple areas including environmental management, compliance, occupational safety, risk management and/or occupational health
• Ensure OSHA compliance within a HelloFresh/Green Chef Facility including but not limited to: Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT’s); New Hire safety training and ongoing safety training; Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding and Chemical Safety; all necessary recordkeeping and reporting including OSHA 300 Logs
• Assist management team during accident or injury investigations and root cause analysis
• Act as the management team’s subject matter expert for safety and security questions
• Ensure visibility of HSE initiatives at the site level (Behavior Safety, Safe Work Permit process, Safety Observations, Near Miss, etc) to all levels of operations management and recommend improvements in effectiveness. Demonstrate sound judgment based on observations and evaluation, by site, to determine safety meeting effectiveness and appropriate level of mentoring for safety meeting facilitators. Collect and analyze data to identify safety or injury trends and develop corrective actions
• Ensure contractors and visitors follow HelloFresh safety policies during their time on-site
• Assist with the site emergency action plan and liaison with local first responders when needed
• Conduct a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) of all routine and non-routine tasks performed on-site
• Promote safer forklift operations through training, observation and coaching operators
• Develop training materials including toolbox talks, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and others
• Manage the relationship with site security and ensures security services are being provided for each DC
• Assist with inventory shrinkage and other deliberate damage/product theft investigations as needed
• Support other departments including quality, food safety, production and logistics as needed

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven FSQA Manager – Plant Based Alternatives & eggs to join our international Food Safety & Quality Assurance team. 

In this role, you will take full ownership of our plant based alternatives and eggs category, working with suppliers across Europe. This is an international category requiring close collaboration with global partners and cross-functional teams including Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Distribution Centres across multiple markets.

You will drive food safety and quality compliance, implement best practices, lead supplier performance improvements, and ensure we consistently deliver safe, high-quality products to our customers.

• Lead food safety and quality management for the plant based alternatives & eggs category across international suppliers.
• Conduct on-site supplier audits and approval visits (Europe)  to ensure compliance with EU food safety legislation and HelloFresh standards.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Management Specialists responsible for processing SKU lifecycle changes requested by Category and Procurement teams.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement operations, master data management, or a comparable operational environment.
  
• At least 2 years of leadership or team management experience within operational or shared services organizations.

About The Team:

As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance, repairs, and improvements of both automated and non-automated systems on-site. The Reliability Engineer will work to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of equipment while actively participating in both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks. The Construction Manager will oversee multiple construction and CAPEX projects. This will include capital improvement projects, retrofits & renovations, and new builds. • Manage planning and execution of capital construction projects
• Responsible for the financial management of assigned projects that can be in excess of $10M

About The Team:

This role sits within the Facilities and Maintenance department and reports directly to the Senior Reliability Manager. We are seeking an Area Manager, Sanitation to coordinate activities and provide coaching and guidance to workers on the sanitation team. About the Role

The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing maintenance operations within a Distribution Centre and to ensure that safety, sanitation, and reliability standards are achieved. Reporting to the Site Director, this hands-on role will perform and oversee the technical tasks related to the engineering, installation, maintenance, and sanitation of production equipment, infrastructure, and facilities.

What you will be doing:

• Develop plans for and perform preventative maintenance of equipment, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, security, and other assets in the distribution center
• Manage vendors and lead a team of supervisors and maintenance technicians to troubleshoot maintenance issues and repair or replace of assets as required 
• Source and manage MRO spare parts, consumables, tools, and other related maintenance equipment needed to ensure assets are in good working order
• Coordinate with Project Managers and site stakeholders to plan, install, commission, and maintain production equipment in the distribution center
• Manage all CMMS/G-sheet preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all activities are up to date and are completed on time in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Manage contractors and suppliers; define scope of work, oversee tasks, and ensure completion of deliverables 
• Promptly communicate all safety related issues and concerns
• Develop, manage, and monitor the maintenance department budget, including labor, MRO inventory, contractor costs, and capital expenditures; ensure cost control and financial accountability
• Support equipment and facilities upgrades required to improve safety, quality and productivity
• Responsible for maintenance metrics, including but not limited to: equipment downtime, PM completion %
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering  to HelloFresh’s safety policies, wearing personal protective equipment (ppe) and clothing as required, and promptly reporting any workplace hazards to First Aid and Supervisors
• Ensure team compliance with all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements related to maintenance activities
• Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.
• Other duties as assigned

At a minimum, you have: 

• 5+ years of facilities management experience
• Electrical, mechanical, and maintenance-related certifications
• Knowledge of trades related to site facilities, repair and overhaul
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance processes, procedures, and systems
• Knowledge of occupational of OHS and Food Safety and its application in a warehouse and production environment
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. Used to working in a high pressure, fast paced, and constantly changing environment

Shift: Thursday - Sunday  5:00 pm - 3:30 am 

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking an Area Manager, Fulfillment.  In this role you will be a key member of the Factor operations team. This position will report to the Fulfillment Manager. The Area Manager, Fulfillment will take a hands-on approach and leadership throughout production and fulfillment. We're searching for someone who is excited to build something extraordinary and share it with the world!

You will …  

• Oversee the strategic operations within the functional areas of receiving, shipping, fulfillment, storage/distribution of goods, and logistics.
• Direct activities and provide coaching and guidance to associates and leads.
• Work alongside and with the team, providing guidance as needed to ensure maximum productivity. 
• Work with Management to complete the given directives of the Company. 
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies.

•   Following-up on and closing pending preventive and corrective action requests.
•   Ensuring that documentation and design controls are appropriate for organization.
•   Assisting the management team and provide support as necessary.
•   Provide all employees with necessary tools, proper training and corrective direction.
