Your Responsibilities

Staff Development and Leadership

• Forecast and manage financial performance of annual turnover process to keep controllable property expenses within budget.

• Conduct move-out inspections and vendor service walks to ensure units are ready for resident move-in dates.

Financial Performance

• Work closely with partner departments for financial aspects of the property such as preparing annual and capital budgets, managing property expenditures, invoice entry, payroll, inventory, collection policies, forecasting, meeting revenue targets, credit card reconciliation, variance reporting, vendor service agreements and month-end processes.
• Proactively seek out ways to add revenue and/or reduce expenses to enhance Net Operating Income.

Customer Experience & Sales

• Implement and maintain Scion’s customer experience philosophy including but not limited to brand integrity, reputation management, resident events, work order management, turnover, hiring and developing staff with a customer experience mindset.

The base salary for this role is between $75,000-$125,000 per year and represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. • Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve their performance, support the growth of your team, and to increase sales. • Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage cash handling, including customer transactions, opening/closing the register, reconciling cash drawers, preparing nightly deposits, and securing the store at the end of each day. As required at your store location, take deposits to the bank.
• Time and Attendance: Lead by example in terms of attendance and punctuality, and encourage the same from all employees. Monitor employee breaks to ensure they are taking their scheduled breaks, promoting a healthy work environment and improving employee wellbeing. Review daily communications, including store updates and task lists, to ensure that team members are informed and prepared for their shifts, promoting a culture of preparedness and organization.
• Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer's shopping experience and drive sales.
• Stock and Inventory: Train your team on inventory best practices and fresh standards, and support management with inventory tasks. Utilize Visual Merchandising guidelines to make real-time adjustments to product displays based on sales and improve the customer experience.
• Policies and Procedures: Support your management team to keep your store compliant and ensure your staff are practicing company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety. 

Qualifications: 

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in:
• customer service and sales
• cash handling and opening/closing procedures
• supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training
• problem-solving issues related to customer service in day-to-day operations
• a fast-paced team environment
• Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business

Assistant Manager

• Visuals and Merchandising: Identify and support the development of your team to take pride in a clean and beautiful work environment and follow the merchandising and design standards to provide a consistent customer experience and drive sales.
• Scheduling, Time and Attendance: ensure the right number of staff with the right skill levels are scheduled at peak times and that breaks and meals are allocated and recorded appropriately to ensure staff wellbeing and payroll accuracy.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment

A Day in the Life

Your CFO client just called. Her accounting department could really use help prepping for an upcoming audit. Or maybe she needs a seasoned project manager to lead a merger integration. As a Business Development Manager, you will:

• Establish and maintain target list developing client relationships.
• Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, “ad calls,” skills marketing, email, social media, in-person meetings, and other methods.
• Generate new job orders weekly in line with performance objectives.
• Manage new and open job orders from intake to fulfillment.
• Utilize Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business as well as planning daily activities.
• Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting staffing augmentation is preferred.
