As Montessori Assistant Teacher (internally titled Assistant Teacher II) for Bezos Academy, you share our passion for early childhood education and the Montessori method, drawing your energy from working in a child-initiated learning process. Your responsibilities will include assisting lead teachers in developing and implementing a program that promotes the cognitive, language, emotional, social, and physical development of each child. Drawing on your previous experience working with young children, you will support lead teachers in high-quality, tuition-free, Montessori-inspired programs in our growing network of preschools in under-resourced communities.

We are actively hiring Montessori Assistant Teachers for our preschools in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area:
The start date for the Montessori Assistant Teacher position will be July 21, 2026. For those who are not already credentialed, you will elect to either participate in an external training program or enter our part-time training program to become Montessori certified in the fall. Please note that this will require some coursework to be completed outside normal working hours.
SCHEDULES, BENEFITS, AND COMPENSATION
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This role requires a Primary Montessori teaching credential from a MACTE-accredited institution. If you do not currently have this credential, your employment in this role is provisional until you successfully obtain one. You must obtain this credential within two years of your start date to remain in this role. Upon hire, you may elect to obtain a credential through the Bezos Academy Montessori Credential Program (MCP), offered at no cost, or through any other MACTE-accredited program at your own expense.
Participation in MCP is voluntary and unpaid. MCP activities may occur during periods that overlap with scheduled working hours or scheduled breaks, including summer break. To the extent that participation in MCP overlaps with your regular working hours, those working hours will be paid. To the extent participation overlaps with scheduled breaks for which you are eligible, those scheduled breaks will remain paid.

GO Tutor Corps Teacher Residency
Location: Washington, DC
Stipend: $22,000 (prorated pending start date) | Timeline: August 2026 until June 2027
At the GO Tutor Corps, we believe great teachers are homegrown. That’s why we’ve created the GO Residency—a pathway to the classroom for aspiring educators committed to transforming outcomes for students.
The GO Residency is a school-based teaching apprenticeship, spanning 1 to 2 years, designed to support individuals pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and teaching certification. Residents are placed at one of our partner schools where they gain immersive, hands-on experience through our gradual release in a real classroom under the guidance of a seasoned Mentor Teacher. The Residency blends graduate coursework with daily practice, coaching, and mentorship.
After acceptance into the program, Residents apply to and enroll in a MAT program through one of our graduate school partners. In Washington, DC, we are looking for Residents interested in becoming a future math teacher. Tuition ranges from $11,000 to $25,000 per year, depending on the graduate school program. Throughout the Residency, participants also receive targeted coaching, professional development, and leadership training from the GO Tutor Corps team.

As Montessori Lead Teacher, you will lead a classroom of up to 20 children ages three through five within a network of high quality, tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced communities. You will plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active Montessori learning experiences. You will create learning opportunities that support the cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development of every child. You will build relationships and communicate regularly with families to support each child’s development. In this role, you will support one or more assistant teachers and report directly to the Head of School.

Working closely with other ML engineers and scientists, you will enable new AI capabilities for Axon’s products (Fleet, Draft One, Axon Air, VR and more) by supporting the training, evaluation, testing and deployment of machine learning models on Axon devices and cloud.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be exposed to a wide range of AI domains and applications: from computer vision to speech recognition and natural language understanding.

Location: This role is based out of our San Francisco, CA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
