• You have 5+ years of professional experience working with some combination of Node/TypeScript, React, React Native, GraphQL, and Postgres (or similar relational database).
• You have a passion for performance and observability: improving load times, digging into metrics and traces to diagnose issues, or speeding up CI pipelines all sound like fulfilling projects. Experience with GitHub Actions, E2E testing frameworks, or mobile-specific concerns like over-the-air updates and native build tooling is a plus.

• You have 4+ years of production experience with modern data stacks including data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift), orchestration tools, managed ingestion services, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
• You have 2+ years of experience building and maintaining production data pipelines, whether through ELT tools, custom applications, streaming systems, or event-driven architectures.

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Rocket Money, you will be at the forefront of our ML and AI product development, bringing your expertise to design, implement, and maintain sophisticated ML systems that drive our product experiences. You will:

ABOUT YOU 🦄

• 8+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or data science roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing ML systems at consumer tech scale and speed.
• Extensive hands-on experience integrating ML and AI methods into production workflows, including creating evaluation tooling and effective user feedback mechanisms to support rapid product development cycles and systematic model evaluation.
• Experience with prompt engineering and management, creating robust systems for testing and optimizing LLM-based applications.
