Cloudflare’s Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) operate at the intersection of product engineering and customer impact.
As an FDE, you will be embedded within one of Cloudflare’s most strategic global customers, working side-by-side with their engineering teams to build and deploy solutions using Cloudflare’s platform. We’re looking for a Director of Platform & Infrastructure to own and evolve our core engineering foundations. Reporting to our VP of Product Engineering, this role will lead SRE, MLOps, and Platform teams with a mandate to create leverage across the entire organization.
As a scaling startup, we’re evolving from early-stage infrastructure to a more mature, reliable platform that can support rapid product development and growing customer demand. This role is critical in helping us make that transition — building systems, standards, and teams that enable speed today while laying the foundation for long-term scale.
Partnering closely with product, data, and application engineering teams, you will set the technical vision, define best practices, and ensure our infrastructure enables teams to move fast with confidence.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role for someone who combines deep technical judgment with a systems mindset, strong people leadership, and a passion for building platforms that empower others.

The Grafana Frontend group is responsible for the end to end user experience on Grafana the observability product and Grafana the platform used by many engineers to build plugins. The DataPro squad develops tools that empower users to express their data. We serve as the bridge between data producers (Data Sources) and consumers (Data Visualizations), enhancing the capabilities of data sources in line with our "big tent" philosophy.
Query experience & Data manipulation: We build and evolve the query experience as well as the engine and components behind the Grafana data transformations experience, which primarily includes Transformations and SQL Expressions.Community Engagement: we listen to the open-source community, we retrieve contributions, and turn feedback into real improvements.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Grafana Labs, you will:
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction.

In Sweden, the compensation range for this role is SEK 609,985 - SEK 762,481. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. Software Engineer - Grafana Cloud Integrations

The Opportunity:
What is Grafana Cloud?
The Grafana Cloud Observability department is focused on enabling developers to understand the health and performance of their applications and infrastructure in any environment by providing tools to instrument their code, ingest observability data into Grafana Cloud and visualize and explore it.
In this role, you will be part of the team that develops our portfolio of integrations that allow customers to collect and visualize metrics from various systems and applications.
The software you will create is a core building block for the users of Grafana Cloud, and contributes significantly to our user value. Our work is built on Open Source technologies, which you will also actively contribute to.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You will bring your software engineering expertise to develop and maintain the tooling that powers our portfolio of cloud integrations and observability apps; working to develop, maintain and scale our infrastructure observability features in Grafana Cloud.
As we are remote-first and our engineering organization is largely remote, we provide guidance and meet regularly using video calls, so an independent attitude and good communication skills are a must.
