As a Technical Design Architect (Active Cluster & Cloud) (TDA-ACC), you will utilize your strong technical competencies in the field of replication, clustering, cloud offerings as well as data migrations, to provide the highest level of implementation capability and technical consultation to both customers and Pure sales teams to support sales goals. You will work on cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, Business Development Managers, Services and engineering to scope and help sell Professional Services solutions for homogeneous and heterogeneous solutions to customers/partners. You will become intimately acquainted with the customer’s/partner’s business requirements, technical needs, systems, environment and service history, enabling you to present targeted solutions to our customer base. You will build replication, clustering and migration solutions for our customers and will be expected to be a member of the hands-on team delivering these services across EMEA. The role covers pre-sales and delivery functions, and you will be comfortable with performing either role as demand dictates.You will possess a thorough understanding of IT architecture, designing solutions, networking and implementation of these solutions and must have significant experience across different replication technologies, clustering, cloud and data migration solutions. You will also be experienced in delivering large scale and complex projects utilising all the mentioned offerings and will also be skilled in scripting to enable automation of these processes where appropriate.

THE ROLE...

TDAs work with customers, sales teams, engineering and Everpure partners to:

• To understand prospect’s technical needs related to a specific market or specific product (i.e. block, virtualized, file solutions, clustering, replication best practice, disaster recovery, business contingency).
• In a post-sales consultative role to support the implementation of the professional services solution that was scoped and subsequently sold.
• To provide technical consultation/education to the sales teams and keep them apprised on new replication offerings and data migrations solutions.
• Participate in customer evaluations and proof of concepts on Pure systems
• Advise and consult on engineering developments and strategies for replication, clustering and data migrations, ensuring these solutions meet and integrate into our clients DR and BCP best practices.
• Plan, conduct and direct projects to support sales efforts and address future customer needs
• Evaluate partner proposals for migration services to ensure they deliver quality and value for money to Pure.
• Deliver replication, clustering and migration solutions to our customers, either as a sole resource or member of a team.
• Develop scripts for both integration of Pure storage into a customer’s operational environment and the automation of replication, clustering, cloud and data migrations.

The Position 

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our growing cybersecurity team. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to our enterprise customers, owning the post-sales relationship, supporting deployments, and ensuring successful integration and operation of our cybersecurity solutions. 

You will bridge the gap between customer needs and our product capabilities, working closely with our Sales Engineering, Support, Product, and Customer Success teams.

What You Will Be Doing 

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned enterprise clients. 

• Lead and support the hands-on deployment, configuration, and optimization of cybersecurity solutions on client environments (cloud, hybrid, and on-premises). 

• Conduct on-site visits to assess environments, guide implementation, and deliver technical workshops or training sessions.

What We Need From You 

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., TAM, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Security Consultant). 

• Strong technical background in cybersecurity tools and principles, including areas like endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, firewalls, identity & access management, or cloud security. 

• Hands-on experience with system integration, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and working in Linux/Windows environments. 

• Comfortable leading deployments and technical troubleshooting on customer sites. 

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security ecosystems.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Purple Teaming Engineer with hands-on experience in both offensive and defensive security, with a focus on embedded systems. 

The ideal candidate will have practical experience with SOC operations, adversary simulation, detection engineering, and security testing across embedded or cloud-connected systems.

You will play a key role in executing threat emulation, automating adversary TTPs, and enhancing detection capabilities in collaboration with Red and SOC team.

Experience with vehicle SOC and security operations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operationalize Purple Team and Attack Simulation exercises across embedded and cloud-connected systems.

• Develop and execute adversary simulation plans that align with threat intelligence.

• Collaborate with Red and Blue teams to identify detection gaps and improve SOC effectiveness.

• Identify relevant log sources across assets, ECUs, and infrastructure; document the type, location, and format of logs required for effective cybersecurity anomaly detection.

• Regularly review the availability, completeness, and integrity of logs; highlight gaps and work with asset/ECU owners to ensure alignment with best security logging practices.

• Share recommendations with system and asset owners on required logging improvements, event visibility, and adherence to secure logging practices.

• Support offensive testing across RTOS, Linux, Android, and MCU-based systems. 

• Draft and present technical reports and summaries of Purple Team activities to technical and management stakeholders.

• Communicate findings, detecting weaknesses, meeting the logging requirements and prioritized remediation strategies. Collaborative Objectives:

• Work closely with SOC & Red teams to convert threat intel into actionable TTPs and test cases.

• Support SOC operations and help validate detection logic with real-world simulations.

• Assist in control validation, SIEM optimization, and threat modeling automation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology and at least 5 years of professional experience.

3–6 years of combined experience in Red Teaming, SOC, detection engineering, or embedded security testing.

• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, threat simulation tools, and detection principles.

• Experience working with embedded Linux, Android systems, RTOS, or MCU platforms.

• Familiarity with SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, ELK), log analysis.

• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python.

• Exposure to network security, including packet analysis and custom protocol fuzzing.

• Exposure with vehicle communications (CAN, UDS, DoIP, BLE, MQTT, etc.).

• Strong technical writing and communication skills for documentation and stakeholder engagement. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in vehicle cybersecurity/SOC or embedded threat detection.

• Familiar with tools like Burp Suite, Ghidra, Binwalk, or custom fuzzers.

• Experience simulating or detecting low-level attacks, including firmware tampering, memory corruption, and secure boot bypasses.

• Understanding of cloud security architecture related to embedded platforms.

Responsibilities - Deployment

• Work with our co-location partners to design appropriate cage, rack and server layouts and to ensure the ongoing provision of space, power and cooling in support of existing and forecasted solutions.

Responsibilities – Operations

• Hands-on administration and maintenance of hosted solutions and related infrastructure (firewalls, switches, servers, storage, etc.) including pro-active identification and fixing of potential incidents, backup management, etc.
• Participate in the definition, documentation, operation and continuous improvement of operational processes e.g. ITIL-based processes such as incident, change, problem and configuration management, and the smooth integration of these with wider company processes and systems.
• Define, implement, monitor and report on metrics that are required for the delivery of highly-available hosted services, as well as to meet the needs of the wider organization e.g. management, engineering, customer services and our customers.
• Provide technical support for all areas of hosted services, including participation on a 24x7 on-call rota; ensure the timely resolution of incidents and/or problems affecting hosted solutions and deploy approved changes and/or updates as required.
• Further enhance the automation of hosting-related processes e.g. deployment of changes, deployment of new services, inventory management, security scanning, service level reporting, etc.
