About The Job

We are seeking a Senior Fluids Engineer to play a critical role in the design and development of the fluid systems that power our core technology, the “Node.” The Node is designed to operate in some of the harshest ocean conditions for extended periods without maintenance, and fluid systems are central to its performance and reliability.

In this role, you will own the design and delivery of critical fluid subsystems and components, working within the broader system architecture to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability. You will contribute deep technical expertise across design, analysis, testing, and deployment, partnering closely with mechanical design, manufacturing, and test teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of critical fluid subsystems and components across all phases (concept through deployment).
• Perform detailed design and analysis, including material selection, sizing, and system integration.

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, naval architecture, marine engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience designing components and subsystems for fluid systems across a range of applications.
• 7–10+ years of 3D CAD modeling experience.
• Experience with complex, safety-critical, or high-performance fluid systems.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, including hand calculations and simulation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and external partners.
• Experience contributing to multiple design-build-test cycles for complex systems.

Desired Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent additional experience.

Position Summary

The BOD (Basis of Design) Program Manager is responsible for the leadership, planning and execution of multiple high priority and/or strategic BOD Projects; high-flow production orders in an engineer to order environment. This role ensures that all Engineering-related milestones (Design Reviews, Design Releases, Production Readiness Reviews, etc.) are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. The BOD Program Manager will lead, manage and collaborate cross-functionally among Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Senior Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Project Teams, successfully driving projects to completion.
• Collaborate and influence resources managers to implement, monitor, and maintain the resources capacity planning for their projects.
• Schedule, facilitate, and document kickoff meetings, design reviews, and Production Readiness Reviews.

We are building hardware that has to survive real ocean conditions. That means constant prototyping, welding, fabrication, and iteration. Our shop is not a support function, it is central to the company’s success. As a Senior Prototype Engineer, Welding, you will design and build prototype and flight hardware, develop fixturing and production processes, and help shape the long-term capabilities of our shop.

You will work side-by-side with engineers and machinists to turn concepts into hardware quickly and correctly. You will own weldments and assemblies from drawing to finished part, provide direct DFM feedback to design engineers, and help ensure the shop runs safely and efficiently. About the Job

Our main product is called a “node” - a large steel structure that translates ocean waves into energy while deployed at sea. You will own the interface between our engineering team and external steel fabricators building our nodes and large structural assemblies. This role is about getting real hardware built—translating designs into fabrication, resolving issues on the shop floor, and keeping projects moving on aggressive timelines.

You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal engineers to make sure designs are buildable, builds stay on track, and what comes out of the shop matches intent. Good looks like clear communication, fast problem solving, and strong supplier relationships that improve quality, cost, and speed over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day coordination of steel fabrication projects with external suppliers
• Drive project timelines, tracking progress and unblocking issues to keep builds on schedule

We are seeking an NX Design Engineer to serve as the technical authority for engineering documentation and release. While the broader engineering team owns the hardware in the full lifecycle, you will own the standards of excellence for how that hardware is defined and released.

In this role, you will be the lead practitioner in Siemens NX, responsible for the creation and management of complex assembly drawings for our "Node"—a device designed to generate energy and survive for more than a decade in the harshest ocean conditions. • Be responsible for the design of high-reliability electronics throughout their lifecycle by working with a team of engineers.

The Role…

At Soho House a Maintenance Engineer is experienced and provides guidance and training to the team daily and while working towards a solution. As the Maintenance Engineer, you work well independently as well as with a collaborative team to ensure all aspects of the operation function as initially intended. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to install new equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults on site. You may also be required to remove old equipment.

A successful Maintenance Engineer is passionate about hospitality, an expert in fixing anything within the property and problem solving with the support of a tool kit, encompass the ability to work well under pressure, and demonstrate high-level prioritization, organization and cleanliness.

Main Duties

• Influential leader and proactive in addressing service calls in a timely matter from each department, general manager, engineer manager and duty manager (DM) according to standard.
• Assist with training the team while also assess request and provide a solution through but not limited to; repair, maintenance, alteration and new install.

A technical sales role encompasses a wide variety of tasks where one day does not look exactly like the next. The projects our team handles are high in volume and unique from one another, spanning throughout the whole course of design, procurement, coordination, and post-sale support. 

Typical tasks include:

• Outside sales meetings and calls to build relationships with existing and new customers

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Chief Engineer to assist the Senior Chief Engineer in directing the engineering departments operations (providing technical and administrative support), preplanning mechanical preventive maintenance, and supervising and directing maintenance personnel in installation, repair, and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. • Maintain and advance our reduced-order beam element analysis tool written in Julia. Author new load cases, fix bugs, and optimize performance.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will build the systems that allow us to make our hardware in-house—reliably, repeatably, and at scale. This role owns the design and stand-up of work centers, process flows, test architecture, and production documentation for complex electromechanical assemblies and precision turbomachinery components.

You will partner closely with Design Engineering to understand new components and assemblies, translate them into practical production systems, and help shape our factory ramp strategy. We are building this function from the ground up. You’ll help define how we build.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and improve manufacturing and test processes that deliver high quality and high throughput
• Design and procure assembly tooling and fixtures that improve ergonomics, efficiency, and quality control
• Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing issues; improve yield, reduce cost, and close technical gaps during production
• Build production work cells from scratch, including SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation
• Establish process controls and support quality systems to meet ISO 9001 and internal quality requirements
• Partner with Design Engineering to provide clear, practical DFM feedback on new products
• Collaborate with Logistics and Production to design inventory control processes, implement kanban systems, and define handling procedures
• Support Supply Chain with make vs. buy analysis and vendor technical feedback
• Work with Enterprise Architecture to define requirements for our manufacturing execution system (MES)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  3+ years of experience in a high-mix manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience with DFM, lean manufacturing principles, and assembly fixture design
• Working knowledge of modern manufacturing equipment and automation solutions
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 in an engineering and production setting
• Clear communicator who can work effectively across Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Enterprise Architecture, Facilities, Logistics, and Production
• Track record of improving yield, throughput, or cost through structured problem solving

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with electromechanical assemblies and enclosures, including PCBAs, cable harnessing, and mechanical integration
• Experience manufacturing complex, high-precision metal components, including turbomachinery or similar high-performance mechanical systems
• Experience with fluid systems, leak testing, watertight assemblies, or heat exchangers
• Experience working with hardware designed for corrosive environments, including material selection, coatings, cleaning, and handling processes
• Exposure to electronics checkout, environmental testing (thermal and vibration), and integrated assembly acceptance testing
• Familiarity with ESD-compliant production environments
• Exposure to PCBA and cable harness manufacturing supply chains
• Experience supporting both prototyping/R&D builds and scaled production
• Proven experience standing up production lines or work cells

• Create wiring diagrams from system requirements for power distribution, low-speed and high-speed data / communication. Translate into cable and harness designs, including layout in CAD for optimal fit and routing. Ensure processes, designs, and selected hardware (e.g., connectors) result in maintainable and serviceable products..
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to handle complex constraints such as thermal, EMI , shock, and vibration, while still meeting requirements for manufacturability and reliability.

• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing to resolve routing conflicts and integration/build constraints.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent practical experience in subsea/marine systems.
• 8+ years designing and delivering wiring/cabling/interconnect systems for subsea, offshore, or other harsh environments.
• Expertise in subsea interconnects: wet-mate/dry-mate connectors, penetrators, pressure housings, cable terminations.
• Strong understanding of hydrostatic pressure, corrosion, fatigue, bend-radius management, and long-term reliability.
• Proficiency with electrical/wiring design tools — Zuken E3 preferred — and producing manufacturing-ready documentation.
• Experience leading technical efforts, reviewing designs, interfacing with vendors, and driving decisions through integration and testing.

Desired

• Depth in harsh-environment sealing, cable armor/strain-relief strategies, and serviceability for field swaps.

We’re looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Integrated Subsystems to own the strategy, processes, and day-to-day execution needed to manufacture and test our integrated electromechanical systems at high quality and increasing volume. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will help stand up production capability from the ground up by turning new designs into buildable processes, developing tooling and test workflows, and creating the foundation for a scalable manufacturing line. You will partner closely with Design Engineering, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics to drive smooth New Product Introduction (NPI), improve throughput, and build a system that can scale with the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and improve manufacturing and test processes for integrated electromechanical assemblies and pressure vessels, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and safety
  • Develop or procure tooling, rigging, and lift fixtures to improve ergonomics, efficiency, safety, and quality control
  • Support quality control initiatives and establish process controls to improve yield and meet quality management system requirements. Support and or lead efforts to build production SOPs
  • Lead efforts to establish procedures for critical and heavy lift plans, and partner with production to train teams on safe execution. Define and implement safety features in production workspaces as needed
• Collaborate closely with R&D and Design Engineering teams to transition new products from design to production, focusing on design for manufacturability, testability, and traceability
• Work with supply chain and logistics teams to support inventory control processes, implement kanban systems, select key vendors, establish handling procedures, and ensure timely delivery of components.
  • Support make versus buy decisions with engineering analysis
  • Be a technical point of contact for contract manufacturing partners
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for manufacturing issues, improve yields, reduce costs, and resolve technical challenges that arise during production
• Define the manufacturing strategy and roadmap for in-house production of these assemblies, including facilities planning, equipment selection, and workflow optimization
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute and validate these strategies

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with direct experience supporting integrated electromechanical subsystems
• Proven track record of delivering results, meeting production deadlines, and managing projects within budget
• Proficiency in design for manufacturing (DFM) and process development for complex assemblies
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing strategies, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and design of experiments (DOE) for process improvement
• Experience developing or improving acceptance and test procedures, including test workflow optimization
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and production standards (e.g., ISO 9001) in an engineering and manufacturing context
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with tooling, rigging, and lift fixture design to support safe and efficient production
• Proven experience building, leading, and mentoring engineering teams in a scaling production environment
• Experience with integrated system electrical testing and leak testing processes and procedures
• Experience with integrated system electrical checkouts for high voltage electronics and mechanical proof testing procedures
• Experience working in ESD-compliant or ISO-compliant production environments
