About You and The Role  

As a Construction Foreman in the Phoenix region, you will be responsible for rolling out our systems in the metro and paving the way imagining how the UAV world meets the built environment - not just for Zipline but for our customers and the industry as a whole. You will manage the entire build process from initial site design handover & constructibility, assist the PM team with scoping & buyout, construction, commissioning, and closeout. You will work closely with the rest of the construction team and contractor base to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and build scalable, repeatable construction processes to expand our network.

You will also be working with the Engineering and Operations teams to tackle all the technical challenges we face head-on to get our customer’s sites operational as quickly as possible. You will have to be technically savvy, and be able to develop relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors. 

What You'll Do  

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for multiple drone launch tower projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in design of site to constructability and cost control, permitting, inspections, and final commissioning of drone tower facilities.
• Schedule and supervise daily tasks for construction crews.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and zoning regulations.
• Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction. This is both for the typical construction site prep whether performed by Zipline or our partners, as well as, and foremost our Zipline hardware.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Manage procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment via coordination with our warehouse team.
• Report regularly to senior construction leadership with project updates, timelines, and issue resolution.
• Travel frequently 75%+ to be onsite for our projects in in the Sunbelt region with a near term focus on Texas (Dallas, Houston) and Arizona (Phoenix), travel to our head offices in California and other domestic states, and possible international travel to support expansion projects.

What You'll Bring 

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience with vertical infrastructure (e.g., towers, silos, telecommunications structures) strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously.
• Proficient with Bluebeam and able to create mark-ups to share digitally with remote workers, or equivalent programs.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and project management.
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 75%+ for extended periods within the Sunbelt region. 
• Must be eligible to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with aviation, aerospace, or drone-related construction projects.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

What to expect  

This position is a paid internship that is expected to start August/September 2026 and continue through November/December 2026. The duration will be 12 weeks, full time and on-site. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in a full-time academic program. POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will serve as the critical link between our software engineering team and real-world deployment environments. You will execute, monitor, and troubleshoot software systems in active warehouse and industrial settings, ensuring seamless sensor deployments and high-quality execution across field operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute software front-ends (GUI and command-line interfaces) in field warehouse environments
• Troubleshoot software execution issues in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Collaborate closely with the broader software engineering team on issue diagnosis and continuous improvement
• Manage and monitor the quality of software execution in real-time during deployments
• Deploy and configure arrays of sensors into industrial warehouse settings
• Unpack, assemble, configure, disassemble, and transport technical equipment to and from field sites
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of deployments, issues, and resolutions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of experience in a relevant technical field role
• Willingness and ability to travel to field sites as required
• Proficiency with Linux, Bash, and/or Zsh environments
• Strong hands-on ability to unpack, assemble, disassemble, and transport technical equipment
• Demonstrated documentation skills — able to produce clear, thorough technical records
• Strong problem-solving skills with comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Effective communicator — able to relay technical findings to both field and remote engineering teams

• Familiarity with motion capture ecosystems: Optitrack, Manus, StretchSense, or Rokoko
• Experience with AR/VR headsets or Zed stereo cameras

• Experience with real-time monitoring tools
• Experience with remote system administration

Hardware & Connectivity

Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000/K

The Supplier Field Expeditor / Field Representative acts as the onsite representative at supplier facilities to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to contractual and technical requirements.
This role is responsible for monitoring production progress, mitigating supply chain risks, and serving as the primary point of contact between the business and the supplier to protect program schedules and product integrity.
 
Key Responsibilities
Schedule & Production Oversight
•    Monitor supplier manufacturing progress against committed schedules

Salary Range: $85,000-110,000

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $70,000-95,000 annually + commission depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location. Xometry is seeking an experienced and charismatic engineer for a critical customer-facing Senior Solutions Engineer role. This role supports Sales by providing perspective, feedback, and sharing knowledge learned from the front lines of the aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing community. Solutions Engineering will report into the Pre-Sales Engineering community, which is dually led by Sales and Operations.

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement and Sales:

• Combine customer knowledge, Xometry partner knowledge, and Xometry system knowledge to rapidly address customer needs and shepherd projects to delivery
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing roles
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
• Experience using Xometry’s services from a customer perspective.  Partner perspective is a bonus.
• Deep familiarity with the methods, materials, culture and products of organizations such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Blue Origin, Anduril, General Dynamics, Moog, SpaceX
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including drawings and GDT
• Particularly strong experience in CNC machining.  Composites, Plastics, Harnesses and Sheet Metal Fab are bonuses
• Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST and other common and critical compliance and certification requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.  This must extend into remote/digital environments.
• Ability to travel to customer and/or partner sites as needed.  25%-35% travel is typical.
• Mountain or Pacific home time zone preferred
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
