We are looking for a Senior Quantum Field Engineer. As a Senior Quantum Field Engineer, you’ll be part of a team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum solutions and solve the world’s most complex problems. Field Engineering sits at the intersection of customers, markets, products and product teams, algorithms, applications, innovation and strategy - this is the team where ideas become applied and have impact.

IT/OT Superintendent, Nussir Project
Position Overview
The IT/OT Superintendent is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of all Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems supporting the underground mining operation and associated processing plant at the Nussir Project.
This is a critical, site-based leadership role that will ensure the successful delivery of the technology domain throughout the project lifecycle—from construction and system deployment through commissioning and into steady-state production. The role is accountable for establishing a robust, secure, and scalable IT/OT environment that enables safe start-up, operational readiness, and long-term performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the delivery of all IT/OT systems across the project lifecycle, ensuring readiness to support construction activities, commissioning, and ramp-up to production.
· Ensure all technology systems are designed, implemented, and tested to meet operational readiness and handover requirements.
· Work closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to align technology deployment with project milestones and production objectives.
· Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and system integrators, including selection, onboarding, performance management, and contract compliance.
· Oversee vendor deliverables and integration activities, ensuring alignment with technical standards, cybersecurity requirements, and project timelines.
· Promote a strong safety culture and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a technology discipline & industry related certifications.
· Minimum 10 years of progressive IT/OT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead project role in metals, mining, construction or heavy industry,
· Demonstrated success in delivering voice and data communications networks in remote open pit or underground mining operations and process plant industrial networks – Wired & wireless networks, private LTE, digital radio, leaky feeder systems, fibre optics, VSAT etc.
· Proven experience managing operational technologies – SCADA & PLC, Fleet management, Production and Safety Video Systems, Access Control etc.
· Strong experience with virtualisation, server operating systems and datacenter infrastructure.
· Comprehensive understanding of and experience with IT & OT cybersecurity frameworks and concepts – IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82 Rev. 3, Zero-Trust, Network Segregation.
· Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

When it is not possible to fill a position from military sources, the JWC has the option to source a contractor to fill a position. Not all contracted positions are required for each phase of each exercise.

Opposition Force (OPFOR) SMEs simulate, coordinate and arrange all opposing actors during exercise execution. OPFOR SMEs ensure that OPFOR force composition, Joint Plan and Scheme of Manoeuvre are realistic and additionally mimic anticipated actions of an opposing force. OPFOR SMEs directly coordinate OPFOR concepts of operations to challenge allied-partner nation actions (BLUFOR) and associated major maritime, air and land formations, campaigns and decision making. OPFOR cells sit side-by-side with other functional areas in the scripting of content, to include JEMM and as required during execution, coordinate with EXCON RCs, to edit and adjust content to help guarantee maximum training value and pathway to achieve exercise-training objectives (TOs). OPFOR needs to ensure they understand BLUFOR plans and act accordingly and be prepared to dynamically scrip.

The Ideal Candidate
The Lead Software Engineer: Cloud Modernisation will play a key role in advancing Entersekt’s transition toward cloud-ready and cloud-native architectures across the company’s SaaS product suite. This role combines senior technical leadership with hands-on engineering delivery.
You are an experienced engineer who is comfortable working directly within complex production codebases while also shaping architectural direction and modernisation strategy. You bring a pragmatic mindset when working with legacy systems and understand how to balance performance, cost efficiency, operational reliability, and delivery timelines when introducing cloud-native patterns.
The successful candidate will guide the modernisation of existing systems by introducing scalable architecture patterns, automation, and operational improvements while partnering closely with product engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, security, compliance, and product management teams.
Initial focus for this role will be the modernisation of Entersekt’s 3DS product suite, with patterns, architectural approaches, and enablement efforts expected to scale across the broader SaaS platform over time.
The Role
This is a senior individual contributor role operating at Lead Engineer level. The role combines architectural leadership with hands-on engineering execution and is responsible for defining and delivering the modernisation roadmap for key product systems.
The Lead Software Engineer will assess previous generation (heritage) components, design target-state architecture, and implement modernisation improvements directly in product codebases. The role will introduce modern engineering practices and cloud-native patterns while establishing guardrails, reference implementations, and repeatable approaches that product teams can adopt.
The position plays an important role in enabling a scalable SaaS operating model by improving automation, observability, deployment consistency, and tenant lifecycle management.
