• Ontwerpen van merkcampagne-assets (OOH, digitale en printmiddelen, campagnewebsites en activaties)

About the role

• Own Catawiki's organic social strategy: Define and execute the social media strategy across core channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), translating business priorities and category opportunities into a coherent content roadmap that grows audience, engagement and brand affinity.
• Create content hands-on: Ideating, shooting, editing and publishing a steady stream of social content autonomously, supported by our creative team and agencies where needed.
• Turn objects and expertise into stories: Work closely with our in-house experts and Category teams to surface the most extraordinary lots each week and turn them into scroll-stopping content tailored to each platform.
• Drive channel growth and performance: Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and continuously optimise formats, posting cadence and creative based on what the data tells you. Report on impact and learnings to senior stakeholders.
• Run influencer and creator partnerships: Identify, negotiate and manage collaborations with creators and influencers aligned to Catawiki's categories and audience.
• Master AI for content creation: Build and own the AI-powered content workflow end-to-end — from ideation and scripting to asset generation, editing and publishing. Continuously test new tools and techniques to let a lean setup produce at scale without compromising editorial or brand standards.
• Collaborate across Marketing: Partner with Brand, PR, CRM, Paid Social and Category teams to ensure social amplifies and is amplified by broader campaigns.
• Run the editorial programme and blog: Own Catawiki's editorial calendar and blog, crafting stories that are genuinely worth reading — rich, well-researched and distinctive — to drive brand affinity, SEO value and audience growth.

What you'll bring

• Experienced social operator: 5+ years in social media, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency experience in a consumer, media or marketplace environment.
• Autonomous content creator: You can take an idea from brief to published post entirely on your own, writing, shooting, editing and publishing.
• Hands-on with graphics and editing tools: Solid working knowledge of tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) or CapCut. You have a strong aesthetic eye and know what works natively on each platform.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Retoucher to join our team. If you’re ready to put your Photoshop skills into practice, we are looking for you! We believe our assortment deserves to look at its best in the app. That's why we don't settle for supplier images or standard pack shots. We shoot beautiful images in our in-house photo studios. Our product images should not only be recognizable, they should also look delicious and inspire our customers. 

Capturing images is only half the effort. As Visual Editor, you know that image editing is a crucial phase, where images are refined, enhanced and transformed. As we look to the future, AI will play an increasingly vital role in optimizing our visual content, making our operations more scalable and future-proof, and freeing up our creatives to do what they love most: be creative.  

You’ll be part of the international team, responsible for product and recipe photos in the Dutch, German and French Picnic app. Are you an enthusiastic Retoucher and are you excited to contribute to our evolving visual strategy? Then we’re looking for you!

Tricks of the trade

• Edit & retouch images: Retouch and enhance high volume of product and recipes images to correct imperfections and improve overall visual quality
• International post production: Together with our in-house Visual Editors, you will be responsible for post production of images in all countries
• Internal & external collaborations: Work closely with our internal photographers and editors, and our external edit agency to make sure all photos go through the process smoothly and within deadlines 
• AI: Contribute actively to the transition we are making in visual content optimization using AI tools
• Configuration: Ensure all images are correctly configured in our systems

Your superpowers

• Degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or similar
• 0-5 years of relevant working experience
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, or eager to become a Photoshop pro
