Overview

Transportation Engineering Leader
Benesch is seeking to hire a Project Manager or Engineering Technical Lead to increase our Transportation Design and Construction Engineering presence and lead activities in Nebraska. This is an experienced position involving exciting, challenging, and complex assignments with opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will be comfortable marketing and delivering projects, developing staff, and developing and maintaining good industry connections and relationships at the state and local levels. Strong project and people management skills are required. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final.

We have a career opportunity for an experienced transportation engineer to be part of an established service line at Benesch focused on enhancing transportation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise or an interest in furthering their career focused on planning, engineering design, and construction of transportation infrastructure for public agencies. The successful candidate will prepare and review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates related to a variety of transportation projects. Project Engineers also mentor and supervise the work of technical support personnel assigned to the project.
