The role

The Financial Crime Operational Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities that keep the business safe, compliant, and running effectively. The primary focus of the role is to carry out customer due diligence, support transaction monitoring, and review alerts to ensure that potential risks are identified, assessed, and managed appropriately.

This role is important in maintaining consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across processes. By handling tasks such as due diligence, screening, and oversight activities, the associate helps ensure that risks are identified early and that the team meets its regulatory obligations. What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with the Insights team to execute teleconferences that will cover a wide range of sectors including tech/media/telecom, consumer, industrials/materials/energy, healthcare and financials
• Proactively monitor pipeline of upcoming call topics so experts can be identified or selected 1-2 weeks before scheduled call date

All content features Advisors from Guidepoint’s global network and are curated by former investors, sell-side analysts, and industry professionals.

As the Research Manager, Insights (India), you will lead a small pod of 2–3 Research Associates responsible for sourcing and recruiting experts for our teleconferences across sectors including technology, healthcare, consumer, industrials, energy, and financials.

This is a player-coach role. You will actively execute recruiting mandates while also driving team performance, pipeline health, outreach quality, and operational discipline. You will serve as the primary coordination point between the Associate team and the US-based moderator team, ensuring speed, quality, and advisor conversion.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, enjoys managing people, and is motivated by building systems that improve recruiting yield and call completion rates.

What You’ll Do:

Execution & Quality Ownership

• Own end-to-end execution of high-priority teleconference topics, including sourcing and securing senior industry experts.

What You Have:

• Prior experience in cold calling and sending cold emails, generating leads would be great

The Financial Crime Associate plays a key role in protecting the business from financial crime risks, including money laundering, fraud, and sanctions breaches. About the Role

We are building the next layer of India's cross-border payments infrastructure — and we need someone who understands how that infrastructure actually works. This role sits at the intersection of banking partnerships, global payment rails, and India's emerging GIFT City / IFSCA ecosystem.

You will be the primary relationship owner for our banking and financial institution partners — driving new corridors, deepening existing relationships, and translating complex regulatory and technical landscapes into actionable, revenue-generating solutions for our merchants and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Banking Partnerships & Corridor Development

• Identify, engage, and onboard global and Indian banking partners — with a focus on GIFT City / IFSCA-regulated entities, nostro/vostro relationships, and cross-border settlement capabilities.
• Drive structured dialogue with bank treasury, trade finance, compliance, and product teams to design partnership frameworks that meet our regulatory and commercial objectives.
• Own and grow existing bank relationships across key corridors — Middle East, South-East Asia, UK/EU, and the US — with a clear view on expanding settlement rails.
• Understanding of the PA CB regulations.

Payment Rail & Infrastructure Activation

• Leverage deep knowledge of global payment rails (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, FedWire, Faster Payments, UPI linkages) and Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) to identify the right infrastructure fit for each corridor or use case.
• Work closely with product and technology teams to translate partner capabilities into live, integrated solutions — from onboarding to settlement reconciliation.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging rails — real-time gross settlement networks, stablecoin corridors, or bilateral bank-to-bank APIs — where commercially viable.

GIFT City / IFSCA Ecosystem Engagement

• Engage proactively with IBUs (International Banking Units), IFSC-regulated entities, and IFSCA as a liaison — staying ahead of regulatory circulars, licensing updates, and new permitted activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with GIFT City-based teams of banks, custodians, and fintech entities operating under the IFSCA framework.
• Represent the organization at IFSCA-related forums, banking conclaves, and corridor-specific industry events.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Intelligence

• Feed structured market insights back to Product, Compliance, and Sales — including corridor-specific pricing benchmarks, regulatory shifts, and competitive partnership moves.
• Collaborate with internal compliance and legal teams to ensure all partner agreements adhere to FEMA, RBI cross-border regulations, AML/KYC norms, and IFSCA guidelines.
• Support merchant-facing teams by identifying and structuring compliant cross-border use cases — outward remittances, import/export settlements, forex hedging solutions, and escrow structures.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

• 4–5 years of experience in banking, payments, or fintech — with demonstrated focus on cross-border corridors, banking partnerships, or correspondent banking.
• Prior experience at a global bank managing GIFT City or IFSCA-related projects, OR at a licensed PSP / cross-border payments entity in India is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with onboarding and managing IBU relationships, nostro arrangements, or IFSC-regulated payment infrastructure.

Domain Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of global payment rails: SWIFT (MT/MX/ISO 20022), ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, RTGS, and relevant APMs (PayNow, PromptPay, PIX, iDEAL, etc.).
• Understanding of FX flows, trade settlement, and treasury operations within a cross-border context.
• Knowledge of IFSCA regulations
• Knowledge of India's cross-border regulatory environment — RBI guidelines, FEMA, Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), AD Category I/II structures, and IFSCA framework.
• Awareness of AML/KYC frameworks and their application in cross-border payment partnerships.

Associate Accounts Receivable Specialist

As part of the Revenue Accounting organization, the Associate Accounts Receivable Specialist will assist with billing, collections, and account reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments. This role supports the accounting team by maintaining customer records, processing invoices, and resolving payment discrepancies in a professional and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, analytical ability, and communication skills, and will thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new contracts, amendments, SOWs, and change orders

• Review customer sales orders for completeness per contract

• Prepare and issue customer invoices and credit memos on a daily and monthly basis for subscriptions and professional services

• Record and apply daily customer payments (ACH and wires) within NetSuite

• Complete and maintain customer vendor forms as requested

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices after conducting appropriate research

• Support audits and provide documentation as needed

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist with other ad hoc projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or billing; internship experience is a plus

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (internal and customer-facing)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and consistency

• Strong time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively

• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
