About the Role:

MaintainX is building a dedicated Billing team from the ground up to automate the full order-to-cash pipeline and replace years of organic growth with a reliable, auditable billing platform. You'll be one of the first developers on this team, owning the systems that power every revenue-generating interaction — from a sales rep closing a deal to an enterprise customer going live without a single manual step. You'll work closely with Finance, RevOps, and Product to define the data contracts and reliability standards the business depends on. This is a high-ownership role: the billing infrastructure you design underpins every dollar of ARR MaintainX generates.

• Architect and build a new billing service from the ground up, establishing the foundation for a scalable, provider-agnostic platform designed to grow with the business

The Connected Data team’s mission is to connect our customers’ siloed operational data to MaintainX — through integrations, sensor management, and the APIs that make it all possible. We own the systems that ingest, normalize, and surface the data that powers MaintainX’s automations and asset intelligence, including our Connectors (Ignition, Kepware, MQTT/Sparkplug B), our On-Premise Agent, and the Automation and Alerting engine. The team operates as multiple squads and works closely with our largest enterprise customers to bring their equipment data online.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and evolve our integrations platform — Design, develop, and maintain the connectors and data pipelines that bring customer data into MaintainX from industrial systems (Ignition, Kepware, MQTT brokers, OPC UA servers, SCADA, historians).

You will work meaningfully in all of them.
