Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
Compass Health Center is seeking an Education Specialist who is passionate about working with adolescents. This is a full time position during the school year.
As an Education Specialist, you’ll work thoughtfully with our adolescent patients (age 12-18) to transition students from their schools to Compass, help them execute on their school IEPs and supervised learning plans, and help re-integrate patients back into their day-to-day lives after program. This role will consist of partnering closely with the entirety of our treatment teams, including Group Therapists, Family Therapists, and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care. We are seeking an experienced Education Specialist who is passionate about working with children and adolescents who have a range of diagnosis in mood and anxiety disorders.
Launched in September 2023, our location in Silver Spring, MD, is already home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers continues to build our adolescent, and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and nurses working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with team members to support the educational needs of patients
- Lead communication efforts with patients’ home schools
- Oversee the obtaining and sharing of school assignments with the patients’ home schools
- Complete educational assessments with patients to determine academic needs
- Create academic plans with patients
- Provide support to parents/guardians as it pertains to the patient’s educational needs and provide them with educational updates
- Assist patients with executive functioning skills, as needed
- Lead supervised study, executive functioning skills groups and other academic groups, as needed
- Proctor school assessments
- Chart communication with parents, schools, and patients
- Attend rounds daily or as recommended
- Participate in family sessions when appropriate
- Provide insurance utilization team with educational updates
- In partnership with primary therapists, oversee the school staffing process including prepping the patient as well as coordinating, facilitating, and participating in school staffings and other school meetings
- Prepare proper documentation for school throughout the patient stay
- Provide the team with updates including the transition plan and school staffing
- When needed, support outreach efforts to schools
- Focus on building relationships with schools which may include coordinating, planning and co-leading school presentations
Who You Are:
- Degree in the field of education (Master's Preferred)
- Maryland active teaching license (required)
- Special Education certification (Secondary preferred)
- Experience working in a school setting with students who have emotional disabilities
- Knowledge of school systems and special education processes
- Experience with classroom management
- Experience with students and families in crisis
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment

The Springboard Fellowship is a paid, two-year fellowship that brings recent college grads with raw talent, passion, and skills needed to reimagine and redesign Jewish student life to college campuses across North America.

What You’ll Do
GOALS:
- Actively contribute to shaping the University of Maryland Hillel by engaging 180-200 unique students a year.
- Collaborate with leaders to develop monthly First-Year student programming, Freshmen Leadership Fellowship, and semesterly Freshmen Shabbats.
- Strengthen connections between Maryland Hillel and Jewish students in Greek life by planning initiatives, events, and coffee chats with both new and current members.
- Assist in creating a pipeline of 50 potential leaders for programs such as FreshFest mentors, Alternative Spring Break, Kol Yisrael, and Jewish Student Union committee members.

GRVTY is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Cloud Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse Big-Data Cloud systems based upon documented requirements. Directly contributes to all stages of back-end processing, analyzing, and indexing. Provides expertise in Cloud Computing, Hadoop Eco-System including implementing Java applications, Distributed Computing, Information Retrieval (IR), and Object Oriented Design. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
What You Must Have
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance

Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
The Coverage and Coaching Team is responsible for delivering evidence-based therapy to patients with a variety of mental health and substance use needs across Compass locations. Specifically, this role will support all patients served at Compass Health Center in Maryland, as well as our Virtual programs. This team is pivotal in helping patients get Access to Care as quickly as possible. If you work effectively with patients in crisis, possess an excellent work ethic, feel passionate about patient care and have the ability to work collaboratively with others, you would be a great addition to our team.
Flexible role expected to provide in person support at Compass Health Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, and will sometimes be virtual.
What You'll Do:
- Interface with program directors to adapt to the variety of styles represented at different sites
- Provide individual therapy, group therapy or family therapy as needed at PHP/IOP level of care following all job expectations of these roles.
- Provide mentorship and training to newly hired staff as needed
- Assess patients’ progress and need for higher level of care, transition plan and/or discharge
- Coordinate with patients outside providers to ensure continuity of care
- Chart progress of patients appropriately

The Medical Intake Coordinator is responsible for the medical registration of new patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to communicate patient health information that requires treatment planning and/or further medical consultation.

What You'll Do:
- Manages the medical registration process of patients entering the healthcare facility
- Provides administrative support to the Nursing Department and Psychiatry Department
- Collects and documents intake information such as medication and health history
- Communicates and collaborates with the nursing team regarding intake information
- Collects and documents of vital signs, height, weight
- Drafting medical documentation and lab orders under the direction of the psychiatry provider
- Transcribing medical information to patient’s charts & communicating pertinent information to the treatment team

Per Scholas is seeking a Technical Instructor to deliver high-end technical training to underemployed and unemployed community residents for purposes of higher economic development and improvement of quality of life. The Technical Instructor must be self-directed and self-motivated, and comfortable with making intermediate-level decisions to adapt processes and curriculum delivery based on current conditions. The Technical Instructor works in collaboration with peers with learner support and works with the Managing Director to change policies, procedures, and strategic planning.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Deliver technology skills training and assessments to prepare students for entry-level to mid-level careers in the field of software development Daily instruction, assessment administration, attendance, one-on-one tutoring, evaluation, and monitoring of individual student progress
- Be Adept in learning new software tools, languages, and technologies as needed.
- Work closely with the team to identify student needs, provide the necessary support, and establish individualized plans for student achievement
- Tutor students as needed
- Work with Career Advance team to ensure alumni are completing additional requirement
- Maintain Salesforce database with student scores and attendance
- Work with Career Advancement team to ensure volunteers from the business community interact with students as classroom speakers, mentors, and small group coaches

Job Summary: The Area Operations Manager (AOM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of their assigned student run cafes in each of the Three Pillars (team development, community leadership, and financial management). Success in this role is a passion for developing, coaching, and supporting the Student Cafe Executive Officers (SCEOs) each semester for the cafe(s). This multifaceted position calls for a proactive individual with a whatever it takes attitude, ready to take on the varied day-to-day opportunities and challenges.

What You Will Own
- Coaching & Development: Train and develop Student Chief Officers to lead operations at their prospective campus cafe each semester.
- Talent Pipeline: Interview and hire roles across the cafe to ensure the team is fully staffed to meet operational demands and identify and develop exceptional talent for leadership roles.
- Cafe Standards: Remain up-to-date on all cafe operations in order to train and coach on all cafe roles. Make SOPs easily accessible to the team and maintain operational integrity by ensuring team members are following all listed steps. Ensure SCEOs are following progressive discipline policies and issuing Coaching & Counseling forms when necessary, as well as advise and assist with involuntary terminations. Hold SCEOs accountable to consistent communication channels with their team.
- Guest Experience: Conduct regular quality assurance checks, audit performance to look for and correct inconsistencies in execution, and maintain a culture of hospitality within the cafe.
- Financial Management: Review, provide feedback, and approve weekly schedules to ensure labor hours are both aligned with demands and stay within budgeted expenses, coach SCEOs on how to read and act upon Profit & Loss statements, and present and defend P&L during reviews for assigned cafes. Produce and assign Labor Models to assigned cafes.
- PARS & Inventory: Ensure accuracy in inventory counts and review and approve Orders & PARS Inventory Worksheet for all assigned cafes.
- Partner Management: Represent Saxbys as the main point of contact for College & University Campus Partners:, Dining Service Partner leads, Auxiliary Services, Residential Life, etc. to ensure day to day operations run smoothly and maintain Campus Resource Guide with up-to-date information.
- Cafe Openings: Manage café setup and initial grand openings as the Operations lead, working closely with all departments to ensure a successful start.
- Local and Competitive Marketplace: Stay current with industry trends, local competitors, and community updates that may have an impact on the business in order to take a proactive approach when it comes to managing cafe operations.
Who You Will Support
- Marketing: Provide intel on opportunities on campus through research and communication with partners. Support SCEO through the refinement of the Campus Marketing Plan to focus efforts on highest potential ROI and ensure execution of key dates and deliverables.
- Head of Area Operations: Assist with academic partners, requested reports, and special projects.
- Recruiting: Nominate, vet, and assist internal student candidates in the SCEO pipeline, complete final interviews for candidates, and effectively communicate hiring needs to Campus Recruiters. Participate and collaborate on initiatives to increase the candidate pool.
Who You Will Supervise
This position oversees between 1-4 direct reports.
What Success Looks Like
- All assigned cafes operate at or above budgeted revenue
- All assigned cafes operate at or above budgeted NOI
- 30%+ of the cafe staff are Team Leads
- 100% of SCEOs are hired by March 31 for the fall semester or October 31 for the spring semester.
What Else is Required
- Support, exhibit, and promote Saxbys Mission and Core Values in all daily activities.
- 2+ years of proven leadership & developing talent within a customer facing environment OR a minimum of 6 months as a Saxbys Student leader
- Food & Beverage or Retail experience is a plus (not mandatory)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding passion for hospitality and servant leadership
- Experience managing teams and processes effectively
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- Valid drivers license

Overview
Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is searching for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong back-end experience to support the ClinicalTrials.gov (CTG) program at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable back-end services for a modernized, enterprise-level data submission platform that must achieve full functional parity with a legacy system while improving maintainability, reliability, and performance.
A key responsibility of this role includes studying legacy codebases and existing business rules, understanding complex regulatory and workflow logic, and translating that functionality into clean, well-architected services in the new system. Experience understanding server-side templates will be helpful.
The ideal candidate will help ensure the back-end architecture supports scalability, containerization, observability, and modern DevOps practices aligned with cloud-native principles.
You will work as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team (including Front-end Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, QA, DevOps, and client stakeholders) to deliver a mission-critical platform supporting clinical research data used by hundreds of thousands of users daily.
Back-end Development and Architecture:
- Design and implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs using the KTOR and Spring Boot frameworks using Kotlin
- Develop and maintain back-end web services supporting complex workflows
- Implement complex business rules and validation logic
- Ensure system performance and scalability
- Identify and understand the legacy workflows and opportunities to implement a simplified architecture while maintaining the existing legacy system
- Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes, including maintenance of the existing pipelines and new development processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
Quality and Agile Delivery
- Document findings and collaborate with Product and QA to validate parity expectations
- Write and maintain comprehensive automated unit and integration tests
- Operate effectively within an Agile development process, including sprint planning and backlog refinement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience delivering resilient, well-tested back-end systems in Java or Kotlin
- 5+ years of experience in service-oriented or micro service architectures
- Hands-on experience with: Spring Boot, Kotlin and/or Java, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, relational databases, Docker and Kubernetes, Gradle and Git
- 5+ years of experience writing automated unit and integration tests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Traditional relational database experience (MYSQL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience modernizing legacy enterprise systems
- Experience supporting federal or large-scale public systems
- Understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, SSL, JSON)

Ennoble Care is seeking an experienced Full-time Social Worker Care Manager (Hybrid) to service our patients within and around the Silver Spring, MD area. This position will be primarily remote with occasional travel to patients homes/facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the mental and physical health care of patients on an assigned patient caseload.
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders. Facilitate patient engagement and follow-up care.
- Provide patient education about common mental health and substance abuse disorders and the available treatment options.
- Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients (in person or by telephone) for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
- Support psychotropic medication management by consulting with the behavioral health consultant and then communicating with the primary care provider assigned.
- Provide brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques such as behavioral activation, problem-solving treatment, motivational interviewing, or other treatments as appropriate.
- Provide or facilitate in-clinic or outside referrals to evidence-based psychosocial treatments (e.g. problem-solving treatment or behavioral activation) as clinically indicated.
- Participate in regularly scheduled (usually weekly) caseload consultation with the psychiatric consultant and communicate resulting treatment recommendations to the patient’s medical provider. Consultations will focus on patients new to the caseload and those who are not improving as expected under the current treatment plan. Case reviews may be conducted by telephone, video, or in person.
- Track patient follow up and clinical outcomes using a registry. Document in-person and telephone encounters in the registry and use the system to identify and re-engage patients. Registry functions can be accomplished through an EHR build, on a spreadsheet used in conjunction with an EHR, or can be built into a stand-alone clinical management tracking system that may or may not be linked to an EHR.
- Document patient progress and treatment recommendations in EHR and other required systems so as to be shared with medical providers, psychiatric consultant, and other treating providers.
- Facilitate treatment plan changes for patients who are not improving as expected in consultation with the medical provider and the psychiatric consultant and who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care.
- Facilitate referrals for clinically indicated services outside of the organization (e.g., social services such as housing assistance, vocational rehabilitation, mental health specialty care, substance abuse treatment).
- Develop and complete relapse prevention self-management plan with patients who have achieved their treatment goals and are soon to be discharged from the caseload.
- Be comfortable utilizing Excel and Word and completing assessments and productivity trackers daily.
- Time-management skills are a must and the BHCM needs to be able to manage their day effectively through calendars and the EMR system.
- This role is PRIMARILY telephonic, however in person visits are done and the BHCM has to be comfortable completing them both ways.
Qualifications:
- The Social Worker Care Manager will have a minimum of MSW
- Preferred Licensure or provisionally licensed
- Behavioral Health experience and knowledge
- Must be licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
