The Position

OPSWAT is now searching for Tier 1&2 Hybrid Technical Support Engineer to join our Customer Support team. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues and escalated issues from tier 1 support and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely responses. We are looking for an energetic and motivated person who likes interacting with customers, tinkering with software, learning about new technologies, and “doing what it takes,” to contribute to OPSWAT’s quick growth.

What You Will Be Doing

• Handle complex technical issues and escalated ones from Japanese partners/customers support via phone, case system, and chat.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for OPSWAT solutions via log analysis, system diagnostics, network configurations.
• Conduct remote sessions with customers.

What We Need From You

An overview of this role

As a Senior Engineer on the Runway team, you'll lead the design, evolution, and operation of the Kubernetes-based platform and developer tooling that powers GitLab's engineering organization. You'll drive strategic infrastructure initiatives across platform architecture, automation, and developer experience. That includes operating production Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments, scaling our ArgoCD-based GitOps workflows, and setting infrastructure-as-code practices and standards across teams. You'll mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and drive platform improvements that enhance reliability, observability, and security controls like RBAC and secrets management. Your work will establish clear patterns that make it easier for application teams to adopt modern practices and ship with confidence.

• Evolve ArgoCD GitOps standards across environments (Application Sets, sync policies, and deployment guardrails)
• Build reusable Terraform modules and practices for safe, repeatable cloud infrastructure provisioning and drift detection

What you'll do

• Manage and evolve production-grade Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments, contributing to architectural decisions on upgrades, scaling, disaster recovery, and reliability improvements.

What you'll bring

• Proficiency in Go for writing and maintaining production-grade services and automation tooling, with the ability to guide others on best practices and code quality. Python or Bash experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience owning production Kubernetes clusters across one or more cloud environments (for example, Amazon EKS, Google GKE, or Azure AKS), including upgrades, scaling, disaster recovery, and reliability engineering.

The Runway team builds and operates the Kubernetes-based platform and developer tooling that GitLab engineers use to ship changes safely and reliably. We own core platform capabilities like production cluster lifecycle management, GitOps-based delivery workflows (ArgoCD), infrastructure as code foundations (Terraform modules and standards), and the reliability and observability practices that keep the platform healthy. We collaborate asynchronously with application and security partners to onboard services, improve self-service workflows, and strengthen controls like RBAC, network policies, and secrets management. Role Overview  
We are looking for a Sr. Control System Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to integrate and maintain the hardware and software systems that enable QuEra’s quantum controls and software stack. You’ll work closely with software engineers, physicists, hardware and test engineers to install, upgrade, maintain, test and troubleshoot multiple hardware and software control systems for our Quantum Computers. This role is a foundational systems engineering role to ensure the reliability, stability, and operational functionality of both our development and production environments.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Implement, maintain and test software and hardware in a heterogeneous system that controls disparate computer system devices. 

• Define, document, implement and test procedures for QuEra’s Quantum computer operations. 

• Manage science, development and testing infrastructure, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups, containerized services (K8S), routers, switches, and test systems. 

• Propose, and/or implement automated provisioning, configuration, and orchestration of local and remote compute systems used in controlling and testing, simulations.  

• Collaborate with software and test engineering teams to ensure smooth integration/deployment of DevOps tools with custom hardware and quantum-specific workflows.  

• Maintain artifact repositories, test result dashboards, and infrastructure for tracking regressions and system health.  

• Establish and enforce best practices for access control, system configuration, and lab operations.  

• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for CI/CD failures or system anomalies.

Required Qualifications

About Position 

The position is within the risk engineering team, which is tasked with designing, building, maintaining and operating the set of services that underwrites Paidy’s transactions. These services use machine learning models to predict credit risk and statistical models to detect, block and alert on fraudulent transactions in milliseconds. Recently our scope of work expanded to include designing, building and maintaining new internal web application tools that empower internal teams to experiment with and implement better fraud detection/prevention methods, credit risk policies, and collections policies to further maximize our revenue. We enjoy using Scala in a functional and pragmatic way to ease the burden of delivering quality backend software. We prefer simple solutions that allow us to iterate quickly and deploy them to production often. We value ownership and trust each other to deliver quality work in a timely manner.

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Work in cross-functional teams that include product owners, data scientists and other business domain engineers to deliver new features.
• Periodically evaluate if our services are meeting our security, maintainability, observability and reliability standards, capture any deficiencies and work with the rest of the team to address them.
• Work directly with product owners and stakeholders to ensure that new requirements will not degrade our platform’s performance, reliability or security.
• When assigned as a feature team lead, design and build consensus around new solutions architecture, build the technical implementation roadmap and work with the team to execute it.

Skills and Requirements

• Required to have:
  • Knowledge of Functional Programming and/or Scala and its ecosystem
  • Understanding of software architecture and design with the ability to align the overall service architecture
  • Experience with building distributed systems, scalability and low latency software
  • Experience with maintaining and further developing existing code bases
  • Ability to work with non-experts, discuss their needs and help them formulate their requirements.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-experts
  • Showsinterestintheorganization's engineering strategy, product development strategy and how that aligns to the overall business strategy
  • Ability to define task outlines and deliverables
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency when required
  • Ability to manage some ambiguity and exercises good judgment when needed
