About the role
We are looking for bright engineers interested in helping our customers solve complex technical issues related to Applied’s Vehicle Intelligence products. Our Solution Engineers have a unique mix of software expertise, domain knowledge, and execution driven mindset. Using these skills, our engineers work closely with vehicle and autonomy software and tools developers to ensure that Applied’s platform solutions are providing maximum impact to advance customers' SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) and Full End-to-end AD/ADAS initiatives. This is an important role for the company bringing together our product and engineering expertise with our customer-centric culture.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Support the technical, project management and customer facing aspects of the Vehicle OS projects for major OEMs in the APAC region
- Bridge the gap between the customer and Applied’s headquarters in MTV, including understanding and organizing customer technical requirements, setting up and participating in technical meetings, tracking project milestones, and other project management roles
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers
- An acute attention to detail and an execution focused mindset
- Strong communication skills and focus on solving customer problems
- Experience working with customers and wants to grow their technical and engineering skills
- Experience in interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or a developer
- Project management experience in complex projects
Nice to have:
- Prior work in vehicle development, E/E architecture, embedded software domains
- Familiar with the vehicle development process and possess in-depth knowledge and practical experience of functional safety required in vehicle development
- Professional experience in software development and coding. Experience in embedded software development is preferred

About the role
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Design, build, and improve the tools, libraries, and frameworks for our engineering team
- Build and test scalable tools for deploying to various automotive and cloud platforms
- Optimize our compile/build times using tools like Bazel, CMake, Docker
- Improve software deployment and data collection frameworks
- Identify and solve bottlenecks within our software stack
We're looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal), with the ability to operate effectively in a bilingual business environment
- Experience working directly with customers
- Some experience using Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin
- Experience with CI, build, and deployment technologies like Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, and comfortability with scripting for automation
- Experience with Linux and/or ARM systems
- Experience working with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform

As a RTOS Solutions Architect on the Vehicle OS team, you will orchestrate the development of a universal software foundation that enables automakers to deliver next-generation vehicle intelligence and software at scale. - Strong experience designing scalable, modular middleware frameworks for real-time or safety-critical systems.
- Deep knowledge of IPC mechanisms (e.g., DDS, SOME/IP, gRPC), OS abstraction layers, and service-based architectures.
- Track record of building middleware for cross-domain applications (e.g., Infotainment, POSIX, Connectivity).

About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager to streamline engineering operations for our Vehicle OS product organization. As our team grows by dozens of people per quarter, maintaining a high operational bar is essential to our success. You will serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for the logistics, culture, and administrative systems that keep our engineering organization running smoothly at peak performance.
This role requires someone gritty who can multi-task effectively and ensure that high-priority tasks are closed out across multiple workstreams. You will work directly with the Head of Engineering to manage the "pulse" of the organization, from onboarding new hires at scale to ensuring our team remains cohesive through rapid expansion.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Own the logistics for the Vehicle OS organization, including customer visits and team space management, in a way that aligns with the teams’ workflows
- Act as the DRI for team culture and health, establishing a consistent cadence of monthly events, happy hours, and cross-team dinners
- Maintain a high quality bar for internal communications, including the logistics and content coordination for monthly all-hands meetings
- Scale our internal onboarding by developing "Academy-style" materials that cover information on our products, customers, and internal operations

As a Software Engineer - Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates at Applied Intuition, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge remote software update systems that enable seamless deployment of firmware, applications, and configuration updates to connected devices at scale.
You will work on sophisticated OTA platforms that combine secure delivery mechanisms, cloud infrastructure, and device management to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient software updates across distributed device fleets. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the rapidly growing OTA market, building scalable update systems that handle millions of devices and support mission-critical applications across various industries.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Design and develop scalable OTA update platforms that process and distribute software packages, firmware updates, and configuration changes to large fleets of connected devices using modern cloud-native architecture in C++ and Go
- Architect and implement secure update delivery pipelines using technologies like cryptographic signing, encrypted communication channels, and authentication systems to ensure update integrity and prevent unauthorized modifications
- Build and maintain cloud-based OTA infrastructure leveraging distributed systems, containerization with Docker, and orchestration frameworks to support high-volume, low-latency package distribution

We are building on-device intelligence for a next-generation Android Automotive platform. This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of embedded ML systems, ensuring models behave predictably and safely in production environments under real-world constraints such as latency, thermal limits, and functional safety.
