We are looking for an experienced Corporate Infrastructure Engineer who will be focused on Wolt and Doordash´s IT Infrastructure. This role will build and scale our systems to support a fully automated infrastructure by leveraging various technologies. You will work closely with several teams here at DoorDash including (but not limited to): Security, IT, Network Engineering and Enterprise Systems.
Our ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to identify problems and offer resolutions in a timely manner. You will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of corporate IT systems. You will report into the Manager, Infrastructure in our IT organization.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Diligent, you’ll be hands-on in shaping the future of our platform by designing and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing microservices that power our SaaS solutions. Our platform ecosystem already includes AI-powered document recognition and classification in production, event-driven serverless architecture on Azure, and a growing suite of integrated tools spanning HR, entity management, and compliance.
This is a remote role
We're looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to own the technical direction of Gateway HR and drive its deep integration with GXM. You'll combine hands-on platform development with technical leadership of external development teams — evolving the architecture, building innovative features, and representing HSP's engineering standards across the codebase.
This is not a pure management role. You'll be writing code, reviewing PRs, challenging architectural decisions, and shipping features — while also setting the bar for quality and engineering practices.
You'll join a small, distributed engineering organization. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with the GXM backend team, an external development partner, and the product team. You report to the Director of Engineering.
In your first 90 days, expect to: get hands-on with both the Gateway HR and GXM codebases, establish your code review cadence with the external team, ship your first meaningful feature and start shaping the integration roadmap.

This is a principal-level role for someone who has already operated at Staff or Principal Engineer level in a sizeable engineering organization and can point to specific platform decisions — in production today — that they own. You'll set the technical direction for our AI-enabled platform: architecting secure, scalable, serverless systems on AWS, defining the patterns and governance practices that multiple teams adopt, and guiding where AI genuinely adds value across the stack.
Your leverage comes from the systems, architectures, and standards you put in place — not from individual output. You'll mentor senior engineers, lead org-wide design decisions, and be the person other technical leaders turn to when the hard calls need to be made. You'll still write code, but that's not where your impact is measured.
If you've led complex platform or AI initiatives at scale, have strong opinions about AI governance in production systems, and want the scope to shape an entire platform's future, this is that role.
