The Role

The Account Executive II will manage a defined sales territory and be responsible for delivering against a quota goal for the defined territory.

The Account Executive II will identify, generate, qualify, and close new business for customers and prospects in a defined territory.  Responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle, building the go-to-market plan (including direct and indirect business). 

What You’ll Do

• Develop new and existing accounts within a defined territory
• Complete and maintain a territory sales plan which outlines a road map to success
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding your monthly and annual quota. by proactively prospecting for All Product Lines and opportunities with new and existing customers
• Responsible for sales forecasting, lead generation, prospecting, and account management through the close cycle
• Maintain accurate Whitespace data on customer and focus prospect accounts
• Partner closely with SE’s, PAM’s and wider POD to deliver territory goals
• Algin with Channel team and Channel Partners to deliver value to our customers and BeyondTrust wherever possible
• Align with SDR team to proactively cover your total addressable market (focus and non-focus territory accounts)
• Attend corporate trade shows and events
• Maintain sales pipeline activity in Salesforce
• Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and detailed presentations to prospects, customers and partners
• Lead RFP responses for your accounts
• Own full end-to-end sales cycle, including running sales meetings, working closely with your SE and partner network, managing a deal through to close.
• Act as an advisor to prospects to understand whether their needs could be met with the BeyondTrust product portfolio
• Understand and document customers’ business and IT strategies, priorities, and goals; capture this data accurately in CRM system

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2-4+ years customer-facing sales experience with security, PAM, Identity Management, or IT related software
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively present and sell a technical solution
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills required.  This position will have a heavy emphasis on telephone-based activity.
• Ability to work in a team selling environment
• Experience with SalesForce.com
• Ability to find and uncover new opportunities with prospects and existing business, cold calling and hunting for business
• Demonstrated negotiation skills

We’re hiring a Product Manager to drive Authorize, a key product solution of Ping Identity focused on the future of authorization. You’ll help shape how people and AI Agents securely access resources.

You’ll work on one of the most exciting fields in digital identity: dynamic authorization. Ping’s Authorize solution is already in the market and rapidly gaining traction with global enterprises. The rapid rise of Agentic AI has accelerated interest and focus in this domain. You’ll partner with a team that moves fast, listens closely, and obsesses over user value. 

The Product Manager role is an important part of Ping Identity’s worldwide go to market strategy for our products. You will report to the Group Product Manager for Authorization. You will contribute to and implement the product strategy by leading on all execution activities, creating product requirements, coordinating backlogs and owning the roadmap. You will be a close partner with both sales and engineering, acting as the voice of the customer for engineering, and providing insight and guidance on use cases to the field. 

We are increasingly leveraging AI to accelerate delivery, enhance decision-making, and improve overall effectiveness across the product lifecycle, and you will have the opportunity to drive how this evolves at Ping.

This is a high-impact role, focused on building the next generation of authorization capability that will be foundational to Ping’s platforms in the Agentic era.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and own the multi-quarter product roadmap, backlog, and quarterly feature delivery, and influence and implement the product strategy for PingOne Authorize (multi-tenant SaaS) and PingAuthorize (on-premises software)
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness across product management workflows, including research, analysis, documentation, prioritization, and cross-functional communication.
• Gather market, customer, prospect, and partner input to understand customer scenarios and technical requirements, uncover pain points and unmet needs, and act as technical expert on customer use cases.
• Provide detailed input into the product planning process and priority of features for communication to engineering.
• Develop technical requirements and collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to build, launch, and refine high-quality and polished features that meet customer and market needs.
• Perform market analysis, identifying industry trends, strategic needs, and competitive pressures to inform product direction.
• Become a subject matter expert on authorization and the Authorize products, helping to scale understanding and adoption of externalized authorization internally and externally.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of work experience in cloud computing in a product management or engineering role.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, fine-grained authorization or identity use cases, standards and technology.
• A history of managing product development lifecycles to consistently deliver high-quality releases.
• Comfort in discussing product capabilities and market relevance to end-users, partners, engineers, analysts.
• The ability to gather and prioritize market data to maintain a product roadmap.
• Able to synthesize technical information into crisp recommendations and present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences.
• Strong project/program management leadership including scope, schedule, budget, quality, communications.
