Role Overview
Systemiq is seeking a motivated and analytically strong Associate to support the delivery of a flagship initiative aimed at catalysing India’s first wave of low-emissions ammonia investment and accelerating the decarbonisation of the fertiliser sector.
This role sits at the intersection of research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with the Programme Director and Systemiq’s global teams to contribute rigorous analytical outputs, support stakeholder processes, and help build the evidence base for market-shaping decisions.
Working alongside the Programme Director and local partners (including CEEW), the Associate will contribute to both day-to-day delivery and longer-term programme strategy — building skills in energy systems analysis, coalition management, and climate policy.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 3–6 years of experience who is eager to deepen their expertise in industrial decarbonisation and contribute to one of India’s most important climate transitions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager – Digital Transformation, Utilities will serve as the central coordination and execution member for advancing digitalization across distribution utilities within the Grids of the Future portfolio. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that bridges strategic programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, technology deployment, and institutional capacity building. The incumbent will work closely with distribution companies (DISCOMs), grid operators, government energy ministries, multilateral institutions, technology vendors, and civil society organisations to drive measurable transformation outcomes at scale.
The role demands equal command of sector-specific technical knowledge — particularly in distribution utility operations, grid modernisation, software engineering, and energy data infrastructure — and of the human and organisational dimensions of large-scale digital change. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable presenting a roadmap to a utility board, reviewing a technical architecture with an engineering team, negotiating a data-sharing protocol with a regulator, and steering a cross-vendor delivery sprint.

Khan Academy India team is looking for a candidate with experience in handling Monitoring and evaluation projects on a contract basis. The candidate will be responsible for executing and guiding M&E projects – both in-house and via third parties. This will primarily include developing logical frameworks, leading indicators, monitoring strategy / plan and coordinating the required field activities with internal and external stakeholders. It is a 12 month contract based role. The candidate will directly work with the Efficacy team at KAI and report to the head of the department

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to join our DMR team — a self- driven engineer who enjoys solving hard problems, building scalable systems, and mentoring others while remaining deeply hands-on with code.
This role blends individual technical depth with people and project leadership, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment and wants to contribute across the stack — from systems architecture to production deployments.
What You’ll Do
· Design, prototype, and build robust data pipelines, APIs, and analytical systems using Python
· Own and evolve large-scale distributed systems across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ClickHouse
· Lead and mentor junior engineers while maintaining your own strong IC contributions
· Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and trading teams to scope and ship features
· Bring a systems thinking mindset — ensuring performance, monitoring, and maintainability
· Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions for real-time data processing and analytics
· Drive best practices in software development, testing, and code reviews.
What We’re Looking For
· Strong hands-on experience with Python and data-intensive system design
· Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, especially Postgres, MongoDB, and ClickHouse
· Experience with data analytics, machine learning basics, and system-level programming
· Exposure to or interest in trading systems, market data, or financial analytics
· Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
· Strong fundamentals in system design, performance tuning, and software architecture
· Ability to balance long-term technical vision with quick prototyping and agile execution
Bonus Points For
· Prior experience in fintech, quantitative research, or high-frequency trading environments
· Familiarity with C++, Kubernetes, full stack development, or CI/CD tooling
· Strong opinions on architectural choices — but humble enough to change them
· Past experience managing small to mid-sized engineering teams or projects
