Responsibilities: 

• Develop and productionize machine learning (ML) solutions in the fields of Document understanding, Search and QnA, GenAI, Virtual Agents, etc. 

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, focusing on AI-driven applications. 

• Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with AI models and services. 

• Develop tools for large-scale data processing and ETL and contribute to extracting insights from data to help guide ML systems development 

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI model, integration, deployment and backend services. 

• Develop algorithms to ensure the integrity and robustness of ML solutions by developing automated testing and validation processes.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. 

• 2+ years experience in the industry with a strong focus on ML solutions development and production deployment is a plus. 

• Good understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals such as Deep Neural Networks, Transformer-based LLM and MLMs, Boosted or standard decision trees, RAG, etc.  

• Strong grasp of OOP, Design Patterns, efficient algorithms, and quality software development. 

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch. 

• Familiarity with GenAI services such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemma etc. Some experience in developing and fine-tuning prompts on any of the GenAI services is a plus. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong capacity for logical thinking.

About the team/role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AI Conversation Designer to join our Service Design team. This role is central to managing and optimizing our conversational AI agents across multiple modalities, directly impacting customer experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with conversational AI platforms, a strong understanding of conversation design principles, and the ability to analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement. This role requires someone who is curious, adaptable, and passionate about leveraging AI to deliver seamless, human-centered support experiences.

What you’ll do

• Lead the development, optimization, and ongoing management of conversational AI agents across modalities, ensuring consistent performance and user experience.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned AI agents, including prompt engineering, conversation design, testing, and deployment.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and ship production-ready ML models across a range of problem spaces: regression, classification, clustering, ranking, and recommendation systems.

• Proficiency in Python; experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or Tensorflow.
• Strong foundations in classical ML/DL. Including some of the following: regression, classification, clustering, ranking, feature engineering, model evaluation, and experimentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills—comfortable working with PMs, designers, engineers and other cross functional team members.

Nice to have:

Candidates should have some experience in one or more of the following areas.

• Understanding of MLOps principles: model versioning, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, model serving, and CI/CD for ML. 
• Understanding of MLOps, and experience with modern tooling like MLFlow, DVC, Airflow, etc.

In the United States, the range is typically a salary of $165,000 to $200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. The range provided is Shopmonkey’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. About the role:

What You’ll be Owning:

• We are seeking a Data Scientist to support our NLP project focused on accurate and automatic tokenization of language data from spoken or written sources. In this role, you will develop automated solutions for annotating language data with parts of speech information and enhance existing models by evaluating their performance against human-generated annotations for both speech and text. Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build the core Machine Learning foundations that power Nova’s agentic experiences. This role focuses on applied Machine Learning in production environments: retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, and model integration layers that make AI features reliable, scalable, and repeatable. You will design and implement the underlying components that support rich, intelligent interactions in the Iterable platform.

You will work closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to shape how Machine Learning is introduced and maintained across the company. The work blends hands-on engineering with system design, and is ideal for someone who can drive complex efforts independently, make practical architectural decisions, and collaborate in a fast-moving, cross-functional product environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build Machine Learning platform components that support agentic systems, including retrieval pipelines, indexing strategies, and model integration layers.
• Introduce and operationalize RAG use cases, from data sourcing and embedding generation to runtime retrieval patterns.
• Develop generalized evaluation frameworks for LLM- and agent-based features, including offline metrics, golden datasets, and continuous monitoring.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $133,500 - $212,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.
