We are seeking a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks while ensuring the quality of SaaS and eCommerce applications.

The role requires strong expertise in Salesforce and SAP systems, hands-on experience with automation tools, and a solid understanding of end-to-end business workflows. What You'll do:

Automation & Test Execution

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or APEX.
• Design scalable automation frameworks for Salesforce and SAP integrations.
• Create and execute test cases including functional, regression, sanity, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

E-Commerce & Integration Testing

• Perform end-to-end testing across Salesforce (Sales, Service, Commerce Cloud) and SAP (FICO, BRIM, MM, GRC).
• Validate eCommerce workflows: product catalog, search, cart, checkout, pricing, promotions, and order management.
• Test integrations between Salesforce, SAP, and external systems (e.g., payment gateways).
• Ensure accurate data flow and business process validation across systems.

API, Performance & CI/CD

• Design and maintain API test automation for REST services using Postman/SOAP UI.
• Execute performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Defect Management & Quality Assurance

• Identify, log, track, and retest defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform production smoke testing post-deployment to ensure system stability.
• Maintain test suites (Smoke, Sanity, Regression) for optimal coverage.

Agile Collaboration & Test Management

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Grooming).
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders for requirement clarity and testability.
• Maintain test data, ensure environment readiness, and keep Jira updated with accurate statuses and comments.

Continuous Improvement & Mentorship

• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
• Maintain clear documentation of test strategies and execution.
• Mentor team members and promote automation best practices.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright (preferred), and APEX.
• Expertise in API testing and performance testing tools.

Integration & Tools

• Strong understanding of SaaS applications and end-to-end integration testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control (Git).
• Experience with Jira or similar tools.

About the Role

Platform Science is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Core Product Development team in Chennai. This is a vital role for an engineer who is passionate about building robust automated test suites that ensure the reliability of our mission-critical IoT solutions. In this position, you will lead QA test automation efforts for Java, C#, and enterprise applications using the Selenium framework, directly impacting the speed and quality of our software delivery. You will report to the QA Manager and work daily, onsite at our Chennai office.

Essential Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Review functional and technical requirements to provide critical input on testing scope; prepare comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases that align with product goals.

• Automation Execution: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks (Selenium, BDD) to perform smoke, functional, and regression testing across software products.

• Integration & CI/CD: Collaborate with Development and Release Engineering teams to capture and reuse automated suites, ensuring seamless builds and deployments on QA, release, and production servers.

• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs in defect tracking tools with detailed descriptions and scenarios, while providing project test status, estimates, and metrics.

• Process Optimization: Constantly interact with cross-functional teams to implement methods that result in faster, more efficient, and reliable QA cycles.

Experience

Required Experience

• 2-4 years of professional QA/Software Testing experience.

• Solid understanding of QA processes and methodologies within the software development lifecycle.

• Proven experience in Test Automation of Java, C#, and JavaScript applications.

• Hands-on proficiency with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium and BDD.

• Experience in using Agile development and testing methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience with API and Performance testing.

• Communicate system downtime, releases, patching, and maintenance windows to stakeholders.

Job Description – Team Lead
Position Summary:
The Custom Data Integration (CDI) team is the operational backbone that enables Arcadia to ingest and standardize utility data beyond the limits of its core product and automation layer. The team handles non-standard customer needs including integrations with sustainability platforms (e.g., Envizi, ESPM, NZC), custom data deliveries and reports, and processing of indirect, non-standard, landlord, and edge-case bill formats through specialized internal workflows.
As the CDI Lead, you own the Chennai CDI pod end-to-end — throughput, quality, team capability, and operational alignment with India- and US-based Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Project Manager and Data Engineering teams. You are accountable for converting highly unstructured and non-standard requirements into standardized, audit-ready outputs that support customer sustainability reporting, billing audit workflows, and compliance needs.
This is a working-leadership role, not pure people management. You will personally own the most complex projects end-to-end, while DAs and SDAs run simpler projects under your coaching and review. The Cyber Risk and Compliance team ensures that WPP Media are adhering to internal policies and procedures so that WPP Media meets regulatory, client and external audit requirements. The role is pivotal to embed robust Data & Technology controls, driving compliance with our policies, and ensuring audit readiness for obligations such as SOX 404 IO. As a key member of the Media compliance team, you will deliver control assurance and actively coach project teams, while also playing a strategic role in shaping the group’s compliance and controls posture to be more consistent, standardised, and repeatable.

You will work closely with colleagues in Financial Risk and Control to ensure IT controls are fully aligned and integrated with financial controls. This role ensures project and delivery teams are equipped to demonstrate control performance clearly and consistently. The focus is on guiding teams to meet their obligations and targeting assurance activity where it adds the greatest value.

What you'll be doing: 

• Be a key liaison with the markets to assist in timely completion of audits (internal, external or client), providing support and guidance as required
• Communicate effectively with Control Owners, Operators, Business platform Directors and other senior stakeholders.
• Ensure all stakeholders are informed about progress, risks, and issues.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Risk and Controls Matrix for application control environment
• Play a key role in monitoring audit deficiencies - from challenging the validity of deficiencies in audit close meetings, to supporting markets in developing remediation plans
• Review remediation documentation to ensure plan has been implemented correctly
• Identify appropriate mitigating controls for audit deficiencies, considering both controls on the IT and financial framework which adequately addresses the risk identified
• Perform detailed walkthroughs of automated controls, to review system configuration and ensure risk associated to the control has been addressed
• Provide up to date reporting of audit readiness to the Director of CRC Media

What you'll need:

• Understands the importance of strong IT controls and maintaining a positive user experience
• Prior experience in internal and external IT audits
• Robust understanding in SOX controls framework. Experience working with external auditors on SOX compliance within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to work independently and proactively work on solutions to self-identified problems
