Job Description – Team Lead
Position Summary:
The Custom Data Integration (CDI) team is the operational backbone that enables Arcadia to ingest and standardize utility data beyond the limits of its core product and automation layer. The team handles non-standard customer needs including integrations with sustainability platforms (e.g., Envizi, ESPM, NZC), custom data deliveries and reports, and processing of indirect, non-standard, landlord, and edge-case bill formats through specialized internal workflows.
As the CDI Lead, you own the Chennai CDI pod end-to-end — throughput, quality, team capability, and operational alignment with India- and US-based Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Project Manager and Data Engineering teams. You are accountable for converting highly unstructured and non-standard requirements into standardized, audit-ready outputs that support customer sustainability reporting, billing audit workflows, and compliance needs.
This is a working-leadership role, not pure people management. You will personally own the most complex projects end-to-end, while DAs and SDAs run simpler projects under your coaching and review. You will design SOPs, onboarding workflows, QA frameworks, and delivery standards across both one-time and recurring engagements — and continuously identify automation opportunities to reduce manual dependency.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to own the cross-team delivery machinery for a 20-person AI native engineering organization. This is not a project coordination role — it is a technical program ownership role. You will maintain the master delivery plan across two Scrum teams and shared resources, track and resolve
cross-team dependencies (platform teams, ARC backend, OEM integrations), manage risk before it becomes a miss, and create the delivery transparency that allows Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership to make fast, informed decisions. The best TPMs are invisible when things go well and indispensable when they don't.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the master delivery plan: maintain the integrated roadmap across both Scrum teams, shared resources (Architect, ML, SDET), and external platform dependencies — with milestone-level clarity at all times.
• Track and resolve cross-team dependencies: Agentic Engine, Core Platform (Temporal, MCP Gateway, Component Framework), ARC backend (Kafka event contracts, API dependencies), Design (component specs), and external vendors (email/SMS providers).
• Run the delivery rhythm: sprint review calendar, cross-team sync cadence, dependency review meetings, and risk escalation forums — keeping the Director and VP Engineering informed without burying them in status updates.
• Identify, quantify, and manage delivery risks: surface blockers early, drive resolution with urgency, and maintain a live risk register with mitigation owners and timelines.
• Own cross-team technical communication: translate engineering status into language that Product, Business, and Executive stakeholders can act on — and translate business urgency back into engineering trade-off decisions.
• Drive the release process: define release criteria, coordinate go/no-go decisions with Engineering, QA (Staff SDET), and Product, and manage production deployments across services.
• Manage the dependency interface to the T1 Agentic Engine team: track which Intent, Skill, Policy, and MCP tool registrations are ready, which are blocked, and what the critical path impact is.
• Continuously improve the delivery system: identify bottlenecks in the engineering process, drive retrospectives, and implement changes that sustainably increase throughput and quality.
Skills & Qualifications
• 12+ years of technical program management experience, with at least 3 years at Staff level managing multi team programs at SaaS or platform companies.
• Strong technical depth: able to read architecture diagrams, understand Kafka dependency graphs, evaluate API contract blockers, and participate credibly in engineering design discussions.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-team delivery programs with many external dependencies — including platform dependencies outside your direct control.
• Expert facilitation of engineering delivery rituals: sprint planning, dependency reviews, release gates, post mortems, and architecture syncs.
• Deep understanding of AI-native product delivery: what makes AI system delivery different from traditional software (eval requirements, model versioning, non-deterministic outputs, golden dataset dependencies).
• Excellent written communication: can produce a crisp, executive-readable status update that tells the truth clearly and drives decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management across Engineering, Product, Design, and Executive levels — comfortable managing up, across, and down.

• Experience managing delivery programs that involve both Java microservices and Python AI/ML engineering teams simultaneously.

• In-depth experience with Temenos Transact (T24) – especially modules such as SECURITY.MASTER, Security Trading, Security Life-cycle Management, Settlements & Clearing Services, SSI & Counterparty Management, Charges & Commission and tax services.,
• Strong knowledge of Securities Trading Lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT564-566 and/or ISO 20022 messages and how these messages can drive STP processing of Securities Trading/Asset Transfers/Funds Execution & Settlement in Transact.
• Prior working experience of Transact Funds Grouping Capability and Settlement Processing/integration with Execution Systems like Contineo and Aladdin/Confirmation Trading Matching (CTM) Systems will be advantageous
• Working experience of Securities Trading/Asset Transfers and Funds Management using Transact Shared Services will be advantageous.
• Experience producing BRDs/FRDs/Functional Specifications – through interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops with business users, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios and workflow analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to challenge business/technical requirements to build good and scalable solutions.
• Product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Hands-on UAT and production support experience
• Understanding of STP flows and system integrations (CFT, MQ, KAFKA flows) will be advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, subject matter experts and technical teams.
• Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates & methodology
• Collaborate with the team’s experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
• Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Technical skills :
• At least 7 years of experience in Banking Industry, as a Business Analyst and/or as a “hands-on” Project Manager
• Expert knowledge and experience on TEMENOS T24/TRANSACT Core Banking platform for Wealth Management, understand the various flows and functions, familiar with system parameterization and configuration, specifically in the area of Temenos Transact Security Trading/Funds Managements/Fees Modules (including Withholding taxes, Fees setup, accounting and regulatory reporting impacts, etc) – Mandatory
• Proficiency in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional & System Integration testing of banking and financial applications.
• Fluent in investigation and testing techniques (Data Analysis, SQL, API, etc)
