As a senior contributor in the APX SRE organization, you are passionate about delivering solutions to the real-time problems our mission-critical cloud native services encounter—and you’re relentless about the high quality, reliability, and security our customers demand. You will work closely not only with the APX SRE organization, but your technical deliverables will reach the entire engineering organization to enable product teams to continuously deliver features on the vanguard of innovation.
In this role, you’ll have a meaningful impact in Identity and Security, helping teams build and operate systems that protect user identity, strengthen authentication/authorization flows, and meet compliance expectations. You’ll partner closely with engineering, security, and identity stakeholders to raise the bar on secure-by-default reliability practices across the organization.

The Foundry team is building Life360’s partner ecosystem and developer platform - the infrastructure that allows external partners to integrate with Life360 securely and at scale. Life360 is hiring an AI-Native Backend Focused Engineer — a senior engineer who doesn’t just use AI tools, but thinks natively in them. You’ll be central to how the Foundry team builds its products, develops its ecosystem tooling, and how we use AI for development in the future.
You’ll design and build features and systems to help grow Life360s partner ecosystem, helping take our platform from zero to one - building out auth, system proxying, alerting and monitoring, everything.
You’ll build and evolve our modern AI-Native engineering workflows — from how we write code, to how we run standups, to how we think about team velocity. You’ll evolve the standard others follow.

The Messaging team owns the backbone of Life360's real-time infrastructure — the event streaming and data pipelines that keep millions of families connected. We process billions of events every day across location updates, safety alerts, and the push notifications that make the product feel instant.
We are a small, platform-focused, AI-native team. AI isn't a productivity add-on here — it's how we work. Every engineer on the team directs AI agents as a core part of their daily loop: scaffolding services, drafting Terraform, exploring unfamiliar codebases, writing migration scripts, and reviewing diffs. We move faster and go deeper on hard distributed systems problems because we've built the habits, prompts, and guardrails to make agentic work reliable.
Current initiatives include the MSK-to-Confluent Cloud migration, organization-wide schema registry and Protobuf governance, and the next generation of Life360's streaming services. Our stack is Kafka and Kafka Streams, Spring Boot (Java 21), Go, Protobuf/gRPC, Terraform, and AWS.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role for someone who has already made AI a first-class collaborator in their work. You'll design streaming services, write and review code, own production incidents, and ship infrastructure — and you'll do all of it with agents running in parallel alongside you. We're looking for an engineer who already decomposes work into agentic workflows, critiques agent output with real technical authority, and ships production code faster because of it.
You'll help shape the team's technical direction on Kafka-first streaming infrastructure and the next phase of our high-availability roadmap. You'll also help evolve how the team itself works with AI — the prompts, the evals, the review patterns, the escape hatches when agents go sideways.
For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $148,000 to $216,500 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range is 171,500 to $201,000 CAD.

We manage real-time device state, high-frequency telemetry ingest, and the cloud infrastructure that translates physical-world signals into reliable, family-facing experiences. Our work sits at the intersection of hardware, firmware, mobile, and platform — and runs at a scale where correctness and reliability aren't optional.
We are an AI-Native team. AI isn't an add-on to how we work — it's how we work. We've redesigned our development workflows around AI, using it as a first-class collaborator at every stage: spec writing, code generation, test authoring, incident triage, and system design. We ship faster and go deeper because of it. We're looking for engineers who want to help define what AI-native backend development looks like for complex, hardware-connected systems.
As a Sr. Staff Cloud Engineer on the Devices Cloud team, you will own the technical direction of the cloud systems that power Life360's connected hardware — Tile trackers, Jiobit wearables, and emerging device categories. This is a systems-level leadership role: you are the recognized technical authority for our device cloud infrastructure, spanning real-time state management, high-frequency telemetry ingest, and the integration layer that connects physical hardware to family-facing experiences.
At this level, your work extends well beyond implementation. You set technical direction, define architectural standards, mentor Staff and Senior engineers, and partner with engineering and product leadership to align the technical roadmap with company goals. You operate across teams and functional groups — influencing firmware, mobile, platform, and data teams — and your decisions shape systems serving tens of millions of families daily.
You are also a leader in AI-native engineering. You don't just use AI — you define how it should be used. You architect agent-driven workflows, codify practices that multiply team output, and partner with engineering leadership to spread these patterns across the broader organization.

About the Role
We are hiring a Principal Engineer, Systems & Strategic Expansion to be the most senior IC in the engineering organization and the CTO's right hand on technology. This is a building role. At Inspiren, architecture happens by shipping systems, coaching others to make proactive technology investments, and building the tooling that makes good patterns the default. A defining responsibility of this role is making every engineer in the org faster while simultaneously raising the bar on architecture, quality, resilience, and security. The Role
As a Staff Software Engineer for Developer Tools, you will be responsible for delivering the next generation of quantum compiler tools and features, with the focus of integration into quantum software applications, overall developer experience, documentation and developer tooling. Marqeta is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to independently identify and deliver software solutions on our Data Infrastructure team through a set of milestones spanning a specific platform focus or a multi-component system. We’re looking for a Director of Platform & Infrastructure to own and evolve our core engineering foundations. Reporting to our VP of Product Engineering, this role will lead SRE, MLOps, and Platform teams with a mandate to create leverage across the entire organization.

We work remotely from eleven countries and are looking for candidates that are living and working in one of them: United States, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Estonia, Portugal, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark and Canada. We gather once a year in-person for our unforgettable team gathering event. We also offer the option to occasionally meet up for in-person collaboration.
