• Experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SCSS and frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap.
• Competency in version control tools like Git, and familiarity with agile workflows.
• Experience working with or building design systems, and maintaining reusable components, and you understand the importance of DRY in design systems. 
• Portfolio clearly demonstrating interface designs and interaction flows, UX thinking. Bonus for pet projects showing your personal design sensibilities and chops.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React (Angular/Vue also considered)
• Experience with graphing libraries (e.g., HighCharts), and/or interactive mapping tools
• Familiarity with component library tools like Blueprint or Storybook
• A hybrid technologist and creative: You can take a Figma prototype and translate it into pixel-perfect, performant code — but you also know when to iterate on the design itself.

Salary Range

About the role

Thatch is rewiring how health benefits work. We build software that powers employer-funded coverage and gives employees real control over how they use their benefits.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to own broad product surfaces, from concept to production. You’ll build across the frontend and backend systems that power onboarding, benefits management, and payments. This work touches real money and real healthcare decisions. Correctness and reliability matter, but so does making the experience feel simple for the people using it.

Senior Software Engineer, Platform

Own the architecture and delivery of our CRM and data-driven prospecting platform in a zero-to-one environment. You’ll turn fuzzy problems into systems, standards, and processes that help BD, M&A, and portfolio teams move faster. This is an AI-first orchestration role: connect people, data, and systems to automate high-impact workflows and surface the right insight at the right moment.

Key Responsibilities

Build the source of truth

• Design a unified “system of record + insight” that powers right-time outreach to top prospects

• Model entities (accounts, people, firms, signals) with identity resolution and data quality guardrails

• Ship self-serve reporting and dashboards with clear SLAs and definitions

Orchestrate AI-first workflows

• Automate multi-step GTM and BD processes across CRM, email, LinkedIn, and messaging

• Stand up LLM-powered agents for research, summarization, due-diligence prep, and follow-ups

• Implement RAG pipelines so teams see the right docs, notes, and signals at the right time

• Tune prompts, guardrails, and evaluation harnesses for accuracy, tone, and safety

• Strong product sense for BD/M&A workflows; translate qualitative feedback into quantitative goals and SLAs that stick

• Deep integration experience (APIs, webhooks, auth), plus identity resolution and data governance fundamentals

• Hands-on with AI integration: calling LLMs, building RAG pipelines, prompt design, evaluation, and guardrails

• Clear, concise communication; you incorporate feedback from technical and non-technical partners into roadmaps that land on time

• Bonus: experience automating diligence (market maps, call notes, deal rooms), multi-channel orchestration (email/LinkedIn/Slack), and building portfolio-wide reusable components
