THE ROLE

Localcoin is building the future of digital currency, operating the largest cryptocurrency kiosk network in Australia. To support this mission, we’re looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starting marketer who’s passionate about bringing our vision to life.

We’re hiring someone on the ground in Australia to own and execute local marketing initiatives. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week based at our Kingsgrove office. It’s a hands-on, execution-driven position with a focus on:

• Customer acquisition (50%)
• Retailer expansion (13%)
• Brand trust — including scam awareness and PR (25%)
• Quality assurance — including marketing audits and systems (12%)

You’ll serve as the bridge between global strategy and local execution, adapting and implementing initiatives for the Australian market. Experience in in-store marketing is a strong asset, and the role reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

Customer Acquisition & Local Growth

• Execute localized initiatives to improve transaction volume.
• Improve rankings for high-intent searches (e.g., “Bitcoin ATM”).
• Identify and fix gaps across directories, maps, and third-party platforms.
• Launch hyper-local campaigns to drive foot traffic.

Retailer Acquisition & Retention Marketing

• Execute outbound and inbound initiatives targeting retail partners (convenience stores, gas stations, etc.)
• Collaborate with the global team on projects such as new store launches, product launches in-store promotions, and key initiatives.
• Improve visibility and credibility of Localcoin as a retail partner.
• Work closely with BD/sales to improve conversion of leads to signed locations.

 PR & Scam Awareness

• Execute local campaigns focused on scam prevention and education.
• Build relationships with community groups, forums, and local organizations.
• Support PR efforts to position Localcoin as a trusted and responsible operator.

Campaign Execution

• Execute organic campaigns localized for Australia.
• Adapt global campaigns to fit local market realities.
• Assist in managing customer retention programs across Australia.
• Ensure consistency across all location-level marketing touchpoints.
• Track performance and continuously improve results.

We’re opening our first Australian store in Melbourne’s CBD, and we're planning more, but a great store network doesn't build itself. Someone needs to find the right locations, negotiate the deals, manage the build-outs, lead the Store Managers, and stitch together the systems that make it all hold together. Our Retail Operations Manager will be the person behind the scenes making Bellroy's Australian retail presence real. While our Store Managers focus on the customer experience, you'll be focused on everything that makes that experience possible – scouting and securing sites, getting stores from signed lease to open doors, leading the team that runs them, and developing the operational playbook that lets us do this well and then do it again.

A Snapshot

About the role

As a Transaction Principal for Australia at Anthropic, you'll drive the commercial sourcing and transaction execution process for our Australian data center capacity deals. You'll lead RFP processes, negotiate term sheets, and serve as the central leader ensuring seamless stakeholder alignment from initial sourcing through lease execution.

This role is critical to securing the infrastructure that powers Anthropic's frontier AI systems in the region — you'll bridge commercial negotiations with complex internal coordination across legal, finance, engineering, and network teams, and partner closely with our Compute Markets team who own the Australia market strategy and government relationships. This is not an established leasing org; you'll be building process alongside execution.

Responsibilities:

• • Lead the RFP and commercial sourcing process for Australian data center deals, managing developer outreach, proposal evaluation, and competitive selection
  • Negotiate term sheets and manage the LOI process, structuring commercial terms that meet Anthropic's technical and business requirements while maintaining strong developer partnerships
