We're looking for a People Operations Lead to be the backbone of how Bellroy supports its crew, from someone’s first day through to their last (and everything in between). You'll be part of our People & Culture team, reporting to our Chief People Officer, and responsible for making sure our people operations run smoothly across Australia and around the world.
Over the past few years, Bellroy has grown globally. We have two offices in Victoria, a hybrid working model and a globally dispersed, diverse workforce that keep things interesting. You'll manage the systems, processes and compliance that hold it all together, but you'll do it with the care and thoughtfulness that makes Bellroy unique.
This isn't a role where you just keep the lights on. You'll shape how we work by improving our processes, building smarter systems, and making sure our policies actually make sense to the people reading them. You’ll be the problem-solver and the type of human who seeks to understand, an explorer of opportunity, a navigator of the inevitable ambiguities that come with our growth, and a driver in making a real difference to how our crew experiences work here.
We offer a seriously considered environment, products designed with intention, a B Corp commitment to business as a force for good and a crew who genuinely love learning and improving. Decision making sits close to the work, we’re honest about what’s working (and what’s not), and we care a lot about doing things properly, not just ticking boxes.
Even if you don't tick every box, if you're excited by the idea of building a strong people operations function at Bellroy, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a full-time role based at our Collingwood office in Melbourne, with hybrid flexibility.

WE MAKE CARRY GOODS, AND WE TELL STORIES. LOTS OF THEM.
For over 15 years, video storytelling has been a signature of the Bellroy brand. From handcrafted stop-motions to day-in-the-life carry portraits, we’ve achieved this without big budgets, sprawling sets or lengthy client back-and-forth. Just a genuine appetite for good ideas. And the will to painstakingly make them happen, one frame after the next.
Now we’re seeking a Senior Video Editor to join Bellroy’s Creative team! We're looking for someone who can continue to push our creative boundaries and tell stories with soul, spark, and genuine visual impact. Working alongside a passionate team of writers, art directors, designers, photographers and producers to showcase the Bellroy brand to millions of eyes across the world.
You’ll take the reins on our video production across a variety of formats, from polished television commercials to short films to scroll-stopping social reels. You'll lead editing, grading, sound and motion while also supporting shooting and directing when it makes sense.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF…
You're an experienced Video Editor proficient at weaving together stories that get attention – from human-led moments to cinematic campaigns to technical product deep dives.
You’re more than just a technician. You bring a perspective on storytelling and how to make your audience feel something. Whether that’s a useful insight, belly laugh or healthy dose of inspiration go see the world.
You’re a post production Ninja. Adept at switching between long and short form edits, colour grading, sound mixing and mastering, motion design and outputting for multiple platforms.
You crave being part of a broader team; working with writers on ad scripts, designers on motion titles, or photographers to sync on a colour treatment. At the same time, you have DOP’s on speed dial and a broad network of freelance collaborators to plug into when needed.
You bring originality, you question the formula and you're not here to play it safe. Optimistic. Resourceful. Compelling. Creative to your core. And you’re keeping a close eye on what’s next (including how AI is shaping creative work).

IN A NUTSHELL…
Bellroy has spent 15 years building products that simplify the carry experience and a customer base that keeps coming back for more. Our CRM program is a big part of why. It's how we stay in touch with customers in ways that feel relevant, considered, and worth their attention.
We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to own and drive that program. You'll be responsible for our email and lifecycle marketing - the flows, the campaigns, the segmentation, the testing, the reporting, and the constant work of making it all better. You'll work closely with your manager to shape the direction of the program, and then you'll make it happen; building out the plans, executing and using data to keep pushing things forward.
If you're someone who's spent a few years getting deep into CRM and lifecycle marketing, who's comfortable owning performance metrics, and who gets energy from building something that works and then making it better, keep reading.

IN A NUTSHELL
Bellroy isn’t a software company that happens to make physical products. We’re a product company, and our software exists to give us a real competitive edge. That distinction matters. It means we care about quality and craft, not just delivery speed. We build systems that solve real-world problems for our customers, our team, and our operations, and we do it with care.
We're extending the capabilities of our bespoke e-commerce platform, integrating with digital marketplaces around the world and supporting the release of exciting new carry goods. As we scale, we're looking for a developer who’s genuinely at home in functional programming – whether your background is in Haskell, Clojure, Elixir, F#, Scala, OCaml, Erlang, or similar – to help us build an elegant platform to support our growth.
We care less about which functional language you’ve used, and more about whether you think in maps, folds and algebraic data types; about types and composition; about building systems that are correct, observable and evolve gracefully. While we love pure functional programming as much as the next lambda enthusiast, we're pragmatic enough to know that sometimes a clever hack beats a perfect abstraction. The key is knowing the difference.
Your growth matters to us. Beyond our learning budget, you'll find yourself immersed in a culture of continuous learning through our hack days, company-wide learning events, and our weekly Technology Team book clubs and mob programming sessions. We've explored everything from UX classics like Don't Make Me Think to engineering fundamentals like The Pragmatic Programmer.
Bring us your problem-solving prowess and quick thinking. In return, we offer a culture where intellectual honesty isn't just encouraged, it's expected. Where autonomy isn't just promised - it's built into our workflow. Where you'll have the tools you need to turn great ideas into reality.

IN A NUTSHELL…
16 years ago we started with six wallets and a simple belief: that well-made things, thoughtfully developed, earn a place in people's lives for the long haul. That belief hasn't changed but the scope of what we make has. Now we have a growing range of categories, and hardgoods have become a significant part of how we're expanding.
To keep that momentum going, we need people who care about the craft, and that's where you come in. We're looking for a Product Developer to join our hardgoods team; someone who’s already driven by the same question we ask every day: how do we make this better, more durable, and more honest to what it's meant to do?
You'll be embedded in the Production and Product Development team who works closely with the Design team to take concepts off the page and into the real world. That means time in our lab, time in CAD, and plenty of back-and-forth with our partner suppliers to get the details right.
Bring us your curiosity, initiative, and a genuine love of making things and we’ll give you a world class team and the tools you need to master your craft.

We've spent over a decade building a brand people genuinely love – through our products, our presence online, and the way we show up in the world. Now we're ready to show up in person. We’re opening our first Australian store in Melbourne’s CBD, and we're planning more, but a great store network doesn't build itself. Someone needs to find the right locations, negotiate the deals, manage the build-outs, lead the Store Managers, and stitch together the systems that make it all hold together. That's where you come in.
Our Retail Operations Manager will be the person behind the scenes making Bellroy's Australian retail presence real. While our Store Managers focus on the customer experience, you'll be focused on everything that makes that experience possible – scouting and securing sites, getting stores from signed lease to open doors, leading the team that runs them, and developing the operational playbook that lets us do this well and then do it again.
If you've ever wanted to build a retail operation rather than inherit one, and you care about doing it at a company that actually walks the walk, we're a certified B Corp, and we'd love to talk.
We're looking for someone who gets energised by firsts, finds satisfaction in the operational detail, and wants to help us prove that retail can be done differently.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE…
Even if your background doesn't map perfectly to every point above, if you've built something in retail from the ground up and you're energised by what we're doing, we'd love to hear from you.

IN A NUTSHELL…
Bellroy has been quietly building something. For the last 18 months, a cross-functional group of people have been steering continuous improvement; mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies, and delivering better ways of working across the business. They've automated NetSuite inbound transactions, redesigned staff ordering processes, and are currently rearchitecting how we manage spare parts. And the momentum they’ve built is exactly why this role now exists.
What the team has built, works, and it's time to give it the dedicated energy it deserves. As Bellroy's first full-time CI Facilitator, you'll be the connective tissue of the team. You’ll be the person who keeps it moving: facilitating the team's ways of working, coordinating improvement projects across the business, and making sure initiatives progress from idea to implementation without losing momentum along the way.
You'll work across almost every function at Bellroy: Operations, Production, Finance, Sales, and beyond. That means a lot of stakeholder management, a lot of listening, and a genuine ability to bring people along with you. Change management isn't a buzzword here; it's a core part of what you'll do every week. If you're someone who gets a quiet thrill from spotting an inefficient process and an equally quiet thrill from watching a better one take its place; then this might be exactly the right role for you.

WHY WORK FOR BELLROY?
Bellroy started around a kitchen table in 2010, born from two places we love: Bells Beach and Fitzroy. Our purpose back then is the same as it is now: to gear people up so they can move in the good direction. Whether that's work or play; near or far.
We're an Australian-born brand with a crew that spans the globe, with 25 countries represented in our Melbourne HQ alone. We're thinkers and makers, designers and analysts, optimists and pragmatists, and we believe the best ideas come from bringing genuinely different perspectives to the table.
We've been a certified B Corp since 2015, which means we use the power of business to help solve social and environmental problems. It's not a badge, it's a way of operating that is deeply ingrained in our systems. So even if your experience isn't an exact match but you feel you have something special to contribute, we'd love to hear from you.

IN A NUTSHELL...
Bellroy is stepping into a new chapter, our very own retail stores. With multiple locations opening across Australia and the US, we're building something special from the ground up, and we're looking for a skilled Visual Merchandiser to help write the playbook. No inherited systems. No "this is how we've always done it." Just a global brand with an obsession for design, ready to translate that into physical spaces that outfit customers for their daily journeys.
You'll report to our Chief Creative Officer and work alongside a tight-knit creative team of designers, writers, filmmakers and photographers, all making things in-house. You'll be a valuable connection between our stores and the people who run them, with additional opportunities to support trade shows, events and photoshoots baked into the role.
We're stocked in 1,200+ wholesale doors globally – from Apple to REI, Nordstrom to David Jones – so we're not new to retail. But owned retail? That's fresh territory. And we're looking for someone who wants to help pave the way.

This role is based at our studio in Collingwood, Melbourne. We work regular business hours, with flexibility built in for the rhythm of retail – store visits, trade shows, and travel to our US locations as needed.
We're a team that values being together (the energy is better, the ideas are sharper), but we also trust you to manage your time and location based on what the work requires.

At Bellroy we build products that simplify the carry experience, and data is an integral part of how we make smart decisions along the way. From pricing new product lines to figuring out how to better serve customers in new markets, our Data Analytics team sits right at the heart of the business.
We're looking for a Business Insights Analyst to join that team. This isn't a role where you'll be handed a brief and asked to run reports. You'll work right across Bellroy with marketing, finance, product and more to solve real problems and build technical solutions so our people have the right information to act on. You'll own the work end-to-end: scoping, analysis and build, through to recommendations and outcomes that actually move the needle.

Bellroy ships products around the world, operates across multiple entities and currencies, and manages inventory at a scale that keeps things genuinely interesting. To do that well, our numbers need to be right and our reporting needs to mean something. This is a hands-on high-ownership role where you'll drive core financial operations, mentor a small team and help us continue building a finance function that's scalable and genuinely useful to the business. Reporting directly to our Financial Controller, you'll work across everything from month-end close and cashflow management to inventory reconciliation and multi-currency transactions. You'll be joining a finance team that's highly capable, genuinely collaborative and who take real pride in the quality of their work.
This isn't a role for someone who's here just to process transactions and move on. So, if you love having real ownership over your work, get genuine satisfaction from clean books and enjoy bringing others along with you as you go; we'd love to hear from you.
