The security engineering team's first responsibility is to respond to emerging threats and aim to secure the open source ecosystem for community and enterprise use. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and scale end-to-end automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend services independently with minimal supervision.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable delivery.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies across API, UI, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve code testability, reliability, and overall product quality.
• Track and analyze quality metrics, automation coverage, defect trends, and regression risks; recommend improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance from a quality perspective.
• Mentor and coach junior QA/SDET engineers, promoting best practices in automation and quality engineering.
• Drive quality initiatives across teams, influencing design and architecture decisions to enhance testability.
• Leverage AI/ML tools for intelligent test generation, prioritization, defect prediction, and test data management.
• Advocate for quality in product planning, release readiness, and post-release analysis.

What You'll Do

• Implement & Enhance: Translate requirements into robust, maintainable test automation using Python and Robot Framework. You’ll be expanding our existing suite, not just running static tests.
• Leverage AI Safely: Utilize AI tools (like Cursor) to boost your development velocity. You will be responsible for validating, debugging, and refining all AI-generated code to meet our internal standards.
• Architecture Stewardship: Build out test scenarios using the Page Object Model (POM), ensuring code reuse and long-term maintainability.
• Pipeline Management: Monitor and debug our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), ensuring test results are actionable and feedback loops are tight.

What We're Looking For

We need a Quality Engineer who balances technical precision with a forward-thinking    mindset. You don’t just test code; you build systems that ensure long-term stability.

• Software Quality Expertise: 3–5 years of experience in software quality engineering, with deep hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) and testing libraries.
• Engineering Proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python or JavaScript. You don't just write scripts; you write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Architectural Awareness: You understand the "why" behind patterns like Page Object Model and can implement them independently to create scalable testing suites.
• Technical Ecosystem: Solid understanding of the SDLC, Agile practices, and CI/CD pipelines. You have experience working with cloud environments (GCP or Azure), relational databases (SQL), and developer tools like GitHub Actions.
• AI-First Mindset: You’ve experimented with AI coding tools and understand their limitations. You know that while AI can generate a script in seconds, a human engineer is required to ensure it is reliable, secure, and optimized for intelligent test coverage and defect prediction.

We’re hiring a VP of Product Management to lead and scale our Product Management organization for our AI-powered, Enterprise GRC platform. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer and serves as their primary partner in building an empowered product organization.

You’ll co-create the product strategy with the CPO and own the translation of that strategy into clear roadmaps, empowered teams, and consistent execution across the portfolio. You’ll manage and grow a team of PMs, evaluate and upgrade the existing org where needed, drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering and GTM, and act as a key product leader with customers, partners, and the board.

How you’ll spend your time: 

Lead and Scale the Product Management Organization

• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing PM team. Hire, onboard, and retain high performers. Be a talent magnet people want to work for.
• Continuously raise the bar for the PM organization through thoughtful hiring, coaching, role design, and career pathing, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles for our next stage of growth.
• Develop deep expertise in our platform, with a clear view of what we do well, where we need to grow, and an intuition for level of effort to support prioritization and escalation decisions.

Partner on Product Strategy & Own Execution

• Partner with the CPO to refine and evolve the product vision and multi-year strategy.
• Own the translation of strategy into a coherent portfolio roadmap, aligned with company goals.
• Ensure each product team has clear outcomes, priorities, and success metrics, and consistently challenge teams to tie their work back to company strategy and business impact.

Lead the Execution of our AI-Powered GRC Strategy

• Empower and upskill PMs to own AI features within their domains: establishing simple frameworks for identifying AI opportunities, evaluating feasibility, and designing safe, trustworthy AI experiences.
• Ensure AI features are grounded in real customer problems and workflows, not AI for AI’s sake.
• Collaborate with Security and Legal on risk, privacy, and governance for AI capabilities to create trustworthy experiences for our customers.

Own Product Operating Rhythms & Processes

• Own the product operating system: planning cadences, quarterly roadmapping, OKRs, and portfolio review.
• Ensure strong feedback loops from customers, GTM teams, and the market into product decision-making.
• Continuously refine processes to support scale while staying fast and agile.

Champion Empowered Product Teams

• Partner with Engineering and Design leaders to ensure teams are empowered, accountable, and outcome-focused.
• Embed discovery, prototyping, and experimentation into how product teams operate.
• Coach PMs on customer interviews, problem framing, hypothesis testing, and validation.

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment & Reduce Friction

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Implementations to ensure roadmap and GTM alignment.
• Identify and clean up cross-functional misalignment and points of organizational collision.
• Stay calm, direct, and constructive during escalations, conflicts, and high-stakes situations.

Strong with Customers, Partners, and the Board

• Serve as a key product leader with customers: CAB, key accounts, strategic deals, and escalations.
• Represent the product roadmap and strategy with partners and at industry events when needed.
• Build credibility with internal and external stakeholders through clarity, honesty, and follow-through.
• Inspire and energize PMs and cross-functional partners about where we’re going and why, so teams feel more focused and motivated after interactions with you.

We get excited about you if you have:

• 15+ years in Product Management, with significant experience in B2B SaaS platform companies (multi-product, integrations, workflows, data).
• 3–5+ years directly managing PM teams, including scaling from small teams to 10+ PMs.
• Strong history of cross-functional leadership and resolving misalignment between Product, Engineering, and GTM.
• A track record of balancing strategic altitude with hands-on engagement – willing to dive into squads’ work when the stakes are high, while still empowering PMs to own their domains.
• Excellent communicator and storyteller: adept at framing product strategy and decisions for execs, customers, and boards.
• Calm, direct, and constructive during escalations, conflicts, and high-stakes situations and willing to dive into the details.
• Known by former PMs and peers as a motivating, present leader who makes time for coaching, career development, and honest feedback.
• Experience shipping LLM powered features and/or agents in production B2B SaaS products (e.g., recommendations, copilots, automations, or predictive insights).
• Experience leading Product Management in B2B SaaS companies in the $20M–$100M+ ARR range, ideally having helped scale a business 2–3x at that stage.
• Experience in GRC is a plus but not required. Success in complex B2B platform environments is an essential with proven ability to ramp quickly in complex domains.

The Opportunity

Career Success plays a key role in executing on our mission: our personalized approach has given thousands of people access to more relevant roles. As a Career Coach, you will work 1:1 or in groups with Springboard students on all aspects of their job search and career goals, to produce great career outcomes for all Career Track graduates. Working closely with a dynamic and empathetic Career Success team, you’ll play a significant role in each student’s journey as you support them in revamping their careers and, by extension, their lives. 

You must be available to offer a minimum of 12, and no more than 25 hours of coaching time a week. Note that the range of 12-25 hours only includes coaching calls, and does not include any additional admin-related work and is billed separately.

While the hours you provided are at your discretion and may include weekend hours, it is important to consider how the demographics of our students (full-time working, families, etc) impact their scheduling needs, which can in turn impact how your hours get booked. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and/or group career coaching  regarding job search in technical fields with students in a high-volume, online, coaching environment
• Respond promptly and supportively to student career concerns and questions via email and to manager’s inquiries about students’ progress
• Track outcomes of coaching calls via our student CRM, providing detailed notes and information that evaluate risk factors, track success, and predict future performance as outlined in the resources and protocols by the Springboard Career Success Team. 
• Implement effective coaching strategies to ensure that students are competitive candidates to land a job within their support window including staying up to date on current trends in technical hiring and job search tactics that work 
• Hold students accountable to the policies designed to ensure we are meeting placement rate goals and the integrity of our Job Guarantee program.
• Support career curriculum and resource development as needed; support development of career webinars and owning administration and facilitation of them
• Escalate and develop intervention plans for students of concern 
• Attending weekly/monthly meetings/training is strongly encouraged and, at minimum, the expectation is to review recordings of missed meetings and training to stay up to date on changes at Springboard, team and coaching updates, etc. 

You bring: 

• 2+ years’ experience in coaching, advising, or workforce/employee development in a 1:1 capacity, specifically supporting individuals’ job search and career goals for technical roles
• Comfortability with and ability to coach from both an empathetic and accountable perspective
• Knowledge of the hiring process and how to conduct an effective job search in tech
• A track record of producing measurable results, meeting deadlines, and balancing multiple priorities and constituencies; you are proactive, agile, and flexible
• Knowledge and willingness to learn new technology and systems (e.g.,  Hubspot, LMS, Zoom, Google Docs/Slides)
• Outstanding customer service mentality and strong attention to detail (in recording student progress and following up on questions).
• Strong communication skills, especially in listening, coaching, advising, and large group presentations, and the ability to build rapport and credibility with students and colleagues across the company

• Formal coaching education through courses or certifications
• Knowledge of working with job seekers with various visas and work authorization requirements
• Knowledge of working within Canadian job market contexts 
• Knowledge of the hiring process and how to conduct an effective job search in tech
