About this Site Superintendent – Marine Works Packages (Expression of Interest) role at Cabonorte
We are inviting experienced Site Superintendents to register their interest for future opportunities across major marine and coastal infrastructure projects in the Middle East and the UAE.
Projects are expected to include complex marine and coastal developments requiring experienced field supervisors with a strong background in managing specialized marine construction packages.
Your Contribution
Site Supervision & Package Execution
• Supervise the day-to-day execution of a dedicated marine construction package
• Ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards
• Monitor construction progress and support the timely delivery of assigned marine work packages
Marine Package Management
• Lead the execution of specialized marine works including piling, dredging, breakwaters, block walls, jetty construction, quay walls, and other coastal infrastructure works
• Coordinate marine construction activities to ensure safe and efficient project execution
• Identify and resolve field issues that may impact productivity, quality, or construction progress
Marine Fleet & Subcontractor Coordination
• Supervise specialized marine subcontractors and site teams throughout project execution
• Coordinate with vessel operators and marine equipment teams to support construction activities
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, and technical specifications
Interface & Site Coordination
• Coordinate work interfaces and handovers between shoreline and offshore construction packages
• Work closely with the General Site Superintendent (Marine Works) to ensure effective coordination across multiple marine disciplines
• Support smooth workflow transitions between project teams and specialized marine work packages
Your Profile
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Equivalent technical qualifications with relevant marine construction experience will also be considered
Experience
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on field supervision experience within marine construction projects
• Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within contractor organizations
• Proven marine project delivery experience within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Technical Expertise
• Strong understanding of marine construction methodologies and field supervision
• Experience supervising specialized marine packages including piling, dredging, breakwaters, block walls, jetty construction, quay walls, or similar coastal infrastructure works
• Strong knowledge of marine construction sequencing, quality control, marine safety, and site operations
Skills & Working Style
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Practical, hands-on approach to marine site supervision
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary marine construction teams
