About this Site Superintendent – Structural & Steel Works (Expression of Interest) role at Cabonorte
We are inviting experienced Site Superintendents to register their interest for future opportunities across major civil infrastructure and structural construction projects in the Middle East and the UAE.
Projects are expected to include large-scale civil infrastructure, stadiums, sports complexes, and structural developments requiring experienced field supervisors with a strong background in managing specialized construction packages.
Your Contribution
Site Supervision & Package Execution
• Supervise the day-to-day execution of a dedicated civil or structural construction package
• Ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards
• Monitor construction progress and support timely delivery of assigned work packages
Civil Package Management
• Lead the execution of specialized civil and structural construction packages, including reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, complex building frameworks, and other large-scale structural construction activities.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure construction is carried out in line with project requirements
• Identify and resolve field issues that may impact productivity or construction progress
Subcontractor Coordination
• Supervise specialised subcontractors and ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, and technical specifications
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, and productivity
• Verify that construction activities meet approved quality standards and project milestones
Interface & Site Coordination
• Coordinate work interfaces and handovers between adjacent construction packages
• Work closely with the General Site Superintendent to ensure efficient coordination across multiple construction disciplines
• Support smooth workflow transitions between project teams and specialised work packages
Your Profile
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical field supervision qualifications
Experience
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on field supervision experience within civil construction projects
• Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within contractor organizations
• Proven project delivery experience within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Technical Expertise
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and site supervision
• Experience supervising specialized civil packages involving reinforced concrete structures, structural steel, large-span structural works, complex building frameworks, or other major structural construction packages.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, quality control, and site safety practices
Skills & Working Style
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Practical, hands-on approach to site supervision
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary construction teams
