About this Construction Manager – Structural & Steel Works (Expression of Interest) role at Cabonorte
We are inviting experienced Construction Managers – Civil Works to express their interest for future opportunities across major civil infrastructure projects in the Middle East and the UAE.
The projects are expected to include large-scale civil infrastructure developments, sports complexes, stadiums, and other technically demanding construction projects requiring experienced site leaders with a proven track record in managing complex field operations.
Your Contribution
Site Leadership & Construction Management
• Lead and oversee construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project execution
• Manage the overall site execution structure, providing direction to the General Site Superintendent and coordinating Site Superintendents responsible for dedicated civil work packages
• Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with project schedules, technical requirements, and quality standards
Civil Package Coordination
• Lead and coordinate the execution of major structural construction packages, ensuring effective integration of reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, complex building frameworks, and related structural activities.
• Ensure effective integration and coordination between multiple construction disciplines throughout project execution
• Monitor site progress and support the resolution of construction challenges to maintain project performance
Technical Coordination
• Work closely with the Technical Manager and Technical Office Manager to resolve engineering issues affecting construction activities
• Support the implementation of technical solutions to minimise disruption to construction schedules
Site Planning & Execution
• Coordinate construction resources and site logistics to support efficient project delivery
• Monitor project schedules and resource allocation in collaboration with planning teams
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with project health, safety, and quality requirements
Your Profile
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management within large-scale civil infrastructure projects
• Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within main contractor organizations
• Proven project delivery experience within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Technical Expertise
• Strong understanding of large-scale civil construction methodologies and site execution
• Experience managing major structural construction packages involving reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, complex building frameworks, and other large-scale structural construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics, and resource planning
Skills & Working Style
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Practical, hands-on approach to construction management and field execution
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams within demanding project environments
