About this Senior Procurement Specialist role at Fuku
- Deploy applicable regional (Vietnam) sourcing strategies and contribute to the definition of APAC sourcing strategies for direct material, indirect material, and logistics sourcing.
- Prepare and execute the RFx (Request for Information, Proposal, Quotation, etc.) process in collaboration with stakeholders. This includes supplier evaluation and selection, price negotiation, technical clarification, and contract sign-off in accordance with RRD Supply Chain Management procedures.
- Manage purchase requests to ensure business needs align with RRD policy and sourcing strategy. Release purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Oversee material stocks and forecasts, identify potential risks, and establish action plans to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Establish close interactions with Accounting teams to follow up on supplier payments and contract applications, ensuring accountants have all necessary documents.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to quality, timing, and internal customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance and associated risks.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards at all times when dealing with suppliers.
Qualifications
· 5 years in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or sourcing function with relevant experience in negotiating and managing suppliers.
· Strong MS Office, MRP (Eg. SAP) experience in Sourcing applications is advantageous
· Relevant experience in negotiating, contracting and managing in different segments/cross regions
· Proven success in driving supplier cost, quality and delivery performance improvement programs.
· Understanding of the cross-category management, suppliers, cost drivers, market trends and technologies is a plus
· Experience in defining and executing supply chain / sourcing strategies
· Relevant international and cross-cultural management experience
· Fluent in Vietnamese and mandarin; basic English verbal and written capability is a plus
