About the role
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Sales Engineer – Hybrid Infrastructure to join our growing Solutions Sales team.
This role focuses primarily on designing and positioning modern infrastructure solutions for enterprise and SMB customers, including servers, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with Sales teams and customers to understand requirements, design solutions, support technical discussions, and contribute throughout the customer journey — from initial discovery and architecture definition through proposals, presentations, and project handover.
The ideal candidate is an experienced infrastructure professional with a strong presales background and the ability to engage customers on complex infrastructure challenges, from datacenter modernization to hybrid IT solutions. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies is preferred, allowing the candidate to support complementary discussions around modern workplace services and customer transformation initiatives when needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Partner with Sales teams throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
· Lead technical discovery workshops with customers to understand business and infrastructure requirements.
· Design infrastructure solutions covering:
o Servers and compute platforms
o Storage solutions
o Virtualization technologies
o Backup and disaster recovery solutions
o Datacenter modernization initiatives
· Hybrid infrastructure environments
· Prepare technical proposals, architecture documents, and solution recommendations.
· Support RFP/RFI responses and technical tender activities.
· Deliver customer presentations, workshops, and technical demonstrations.
· Advise customers on infrastructure modernization and resilience strategies.
· Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project transition.
· Maintain awareness of infrastructure technology trends and vendor ecosystems.
· Microsoft 365 Foundational Knowledge (Preferred): The ideal candidate should be able to support basic Microsoft 365 discussions, especially for SMB customers including:
o Microsoft 365 tenant fundamentals.
o Hybrid Identity concepts with Microsoft Entra ID.
o Basic endpoint management concepts using Microsoft Intune.
o Microsoft 365 onboarding and migration scenarios
o Basic understanding of Zero Trust principles and Microsoft security baseline concepts.
o Microsoft 365 licensing fundamentals.
Requirements
· Minimum 8–10 years of IT infrastructure experience across areas such as:
o Systems engineering
o Datacenter infrastructure
o Storage
o Virtualization
o Backup and disaster recovery solutions
· Minimum 3 years of experience in:
o Presales
o Solutions Engineering
o Technical Consulting
o Customer-facing technical roles
· Strong experience designing infrastructure solutions.
· Solid understanding of:
o Windows Server / Linux environments
o VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization
o Storage platforms
o Backup technologies
o Disaster Recovery concepts
o Datacenter architecture
o Experience supporting enterprise and SMB customer engagements.
· Ability to translate technical requirements into business-oriented solutions.
· Strong presentation and communication skills.
· Fluent Greek and English (written and spoken).
· Eligibility to work in Greece.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with infrastructure vendor ecosystems (ie Dell, Lenovo, HPE)
· Experience with backup platforms such as Veeam, Commvault,
· Familiarity with hybrid cloud concepts.
· Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration or migration projects.
· Good understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing models for SMBs.
· Relevant certifications such as:
o Vendor infrastructure certifications (ie Dell, VeeaM)
o VMware certifications
o Windows Server Hybrid Administrator certification
o Microsoft Fundamentals certifications (MS-900 / AZ-900)
