We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Solutions Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Greece. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen, helping customers design and adopt cloud solutions built on Microsoft Azure.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to understand customer challenges, architect solutions, deliver compelling demonstrations, and support complex enterprise sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Azure technologies, proven presales experience, and the ability to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to identify customer requirements and business objectives.
- Lead discovery workshops and technical consultations with prospective and existing customers.
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective Microsoft Azure solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution workshops.
- Develop solution architectures, proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.
- Provide technical leadership during customer evaluations and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure successful solution transitions.
- Stay current with Azure services, cloud technologies, and industry trends.
- Build trusted relationships with customer IT teams, architects, and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Presales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting roles.
- Approximately 10 years of overall experience in IT, Cloud, Infrastructure and Enterprise Technology environments.
- Proven experience designing and positioning Microsoft Azure solutions for enterprise customers.
- Strong understanding of:
- Azure Infrastructure Services (IaaS)
- Platform Services (PaaS)
- Networking and Connectivity
- Identity and Access Management
- Security and Governance
- Backup and Disaster Recovery
- Experience conducting customer workshops, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales opportunities and complex buying cycles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent Greek & English (written and spoken).
- Eligibility to work in Greece.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications, preferably:
- AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer Associate
- AZ-700 – Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Experience / Exposure with other HyperScalers solutions (OCI, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud) is a strong advantage
- Experience / Exposure with Microsoft Security, Data, AI, or Modern Workplace solutions.
- Experience within a Microsoft Partner, System Integrator, Cloud Consultancy, Telecom Provider, or Technology Vendor environment.
- Public sector or regulated industry experience is considered an advantage.
