Responsibilities
· Cover for absent teachers in the German Secondary School following cover instructions
· Teach the school’s curriculum in the classes you are assigned to using effective and current strategies
· Cultivate and maintain a positive, productive and caring learning environment in the classroom
· Maintain clear, regular and positive communication with colleagues and students
· Represent the school in a respectful way in all external communication
Key requirements
· Adequate teaching experience
· Recognized teaching qualification (1st and 2nd Staatsexamen or equivalent recognized teaching qualification)
· We accept applications for all subject combinations
· Knowledge, understanding or teaching experience of the German secondary school curriculum
· Articulate and effective written and oral communication in German and English, as the medium of instruction is German
· Humorous and resilient personality with joy for teaching and educating young students
· Experience with teaching methods that enable individualistic learning
· Good computer skills and experience with new media in class
· Openness to work in an international school setting
Aufgaben
· Vertretung von abwesenden Lehrkräften in der deutschen Sekundarstufe gemäß den Vertretungsanweisungen
· Fachunterricht in den Ihnen zugewiesenen Klassen unter Einsatz effektiver und aktueller Methoden
· Wahrung einer positiven, produktiven und fürsorglichen Lernatmosphäre im Klassenzimmer
· Klare, regelmäßige und positive Kommunikation mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen sowie Schülerinnen und Schülern
· Repräsentation der Schule
Anforderungen:
· Angemessene Lehrerfahrung
· Abgeschlossene Lehramtsausbildung (1. und 2. Staatsexamen)
· Wir nehmen gern Bewerbungen für jegliche Fächerkombinationen an.
· Kenntnisse, Verständnis und Erfahrung mit dem Lehrplan für die 1. Und 2. Sekundarstufe
· Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, da die Unterrichtssprache Deutsch ist
· Humorvolle und belastbare Persönlichkeit mit Freude am Unterrichten und Erziehen junger Menschen
· Erfahrung mit Unterrichtsmethoden, die zum individualisierten Lernen führen
· Sichere Computerkenntnisse und Erfahrung in der Einbindung der neuen Medien in den Fachunterricht
· Aufgeschlossenheit zur Mitarbeit in einem internationalen Team
